I need help guys..

The only authentic I own right now is of JJ, auto'ed at last year's TC. Looking forward to getting it framed, along with some of the pics, and trading cards of his that got auto'ed.

I'm hoping it's a jersey that has a long winning history.

visit eBay and save about $150 - even if you don't have any patience, you could probably buy an authentic Roy Williams for under $90

how about you send me your $250 and I'll send you a T-shirt from a real American hero...or an American flag that went on several SF missions and flew over Bagram...

Billyrags, those arent authentics. I bought one and returned it immediately. I told him it wasnt an authentic, and he didnt refute it. Got my money back. The seller had a high rep and great feedback, thought I would give it a shot for the price.

I have seen others as well, and none of them have been authentics.

i think Jerseys are lame, unless they're your own with your own name on them (legitimately)

well u can get a jersey with ur own name printed on it,even tho i dont play ,being a huge fan gives me the right to wear one.I had the same views as u before, but i guess i have just changed a bit on that subject.

I concur. I own about 20 authentics of various players in the league and I've never paid over $80 by buying new on ebay.

At the draft a guy had a Broncos Clarett jersey.

I kid you not.

Right in front of us a guy had a Rams Lawrence Phillips.

The new "in" is to have a jersey of your team's bad boy.

It's the whole wannabe thing. Why do you think so many people ordered "Mexico" Falcons jerseys.

 I am considering shelving out the $225.oo for a real jersey but for this much i am unsure who to go with .I mean with free agency its something i gotta think about.I would love T.O. but we know how that is,and I was thinking RW,he is my fav,or maybe an old school player.any hints?
I you are looking for a player on the team now then I think Newman is your best choice.
Quietly he is one of the best corner's in the NFL.
I mean, Quite Frankly, just ask Steve Smith.

Or you can go the safe route and get one of the legend's jersey's.
Defense-Darren Woodson
Offense-Triplets
Or you can get your favorite number and put your own name on the back. It costs a little more but you cannot go wrong that way.
Unless you get #69 and put some clever name on the back...but then you would become "softball guy" in that senario.
Don't be that guy.

Seriously, are they comfortable? The only jersey I have is an A&M jersey and I don't like the fabric. AT ALL.

I hate to sound ignorant, but do y'all wear and undershirt with these?

That's fine if you don't care about them being authentic but if you look closely on most of those ebay jersey photos you can see that the jerseys have had old numbers removed and replaced by the player you're buying. You can actually see the stitching of the old number.

By the way, does anybody know if it's a fact that in the 90's the cowboys jerseys did not have stitched-on numbers but rather were "silkscreened"? I recently saw an autographed Aikman jersey at an auction and it sure looked like an authentic jersey with embroidered nfl logos but the name & numbers were not sitched on. The auctioneer insisted that the 'boys were one of the only teams not to use stitched on numbers at that time.

Yo, I can vouch for that!
I got a Irvin #88 jersey back in 93, and it was silkscreened.
That's true, and it's a shame because that same jersey has the numbers peeling off.
Today's jersey's are much better...no comparison!

Ditto, MIL bought me an Aikman authnetic in the same year (93) and the numbers were, in fact, silk screened.
