I need to see Romo in Lions & Eagles game

Dallas needs to find out about Tony Romo before playoffs. Let Tony take snaps 2nd half of both games and lets see if he can still take a hit. This is actually important exercise to set their playoff roster. Regardless of how he looks he is backing up Dak in playoffs.

Yeah, you have to get him out there in these next 2 games. Let Dak start on Monday for sure, as the Lions could be a team we'll face in the playoffs. Give him a half, then let Tony play the 2nd half. The following week, maybe give Dak a quarter, then Tony 2 quarters & let Sanchez finish the game ( provided they suit him up ), if not, give Tony the last 3 quarters. We have to find out if Tony can take a hit & you never know what could happen in the playoffs, where a situation could arise where Romo would NEED to come into the game.

It's a Catch 22 if you ask me.

He plays lights out, his trade value goes up.

He gets hurt, he retires a broken Cowboy.

I have a feeling that we will see Sanchez instead of Romo. It's different if Romo comes in b/c Dak gets hurt, but for a veteran to come in and play when it's meaningless, that's just a kick to the groin, and I don't think Jerry will put him in that situation.

Now that Dak has locked up the NFCE and HFA for the Cowboys, the natives will be banging on Jerry's door for answers to what the Cowboys will do moving forward into the next two games.

I'm not so sure we'll see him during the Lions game, unless it's a blowout.

I'm guessing that, in general, we're not going to rest healthy starters until the 2nd half of week 17.

I'm thinking we'll just be more cautious with guys who are banged up, that would've probably been slated for more playing time these next two weeks if the games were actually meaningful.

I could see Elliott getting a little less snaps than normal, but that's about it. Give his legs a break and let DMC get into a rhythm.

I think we see tony play at some point in these last 2 games, I think starters will play each game, but no
telling what they do.
Tony needs to play, and get some real game time, so he will be more ready for playoffs as a bkup.

There are other guys who have to play, even with minor injuries. It's never a good idea to ask those guys to go out and play but then pull healthy starters like you don't care about winning. Winning is always important. Do you think Tom Brady is going to sit down for the final Patriots games? You play to win every game, resting only the injured.

I agree here. Dak gets one half in to stay fresh both games and then you see Romo (and DMC) more prominently featured in the second halves. I pray for this. Give Dak & Zeke a smidgen of rest so they go into the playoffs energized & fresh!
