My family wants to go see Harry Potter 6 tonight at the Midnight showing. I consented so yesterday the wife bought the tickets. Forget the fact that I will only get 2 hours of sleep before work the next day. They actually want to go get in line about 10:30. We already have our tickets. Why do we need to get in line?

That's a steep price to pay for a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. :

I actually took my wife to see Sex and the City on the last night it was showing, the 9:00 show. She tried like hell for a month to get her and her friends to go together, but never pulled off. Weekend after weekend, every plan fell through....................and I felt the noose tightening.

On that fateful last Friday, it came: "Honey, I know you don't want to go, but I REEEEAAAAALLY want to see it. Will you take me?" I also didn't know it was an over three hour movie! I was bobbing and falling asleep all night, but got some pretty good capital from it. Sometime you just have to be a good foot soldier on the battlefield of marriage.
