Ok not predict! I'm praying for a darn flea-flicker. I know Bledsoe had one that was money to T.O but it got tipped. Nonono I'm not a Bledsoe lover... I know how ppl read deep into simple message board posts.

i love the flea-flicker, Quincy Carter did that really well, i want to see Sir Romo give it a shot or two. maybe after handing it to MB3 then toss it to Owens/Hurd. use the 3 wr set to throw them off when we hand it off to MB3

I'm not a Bledsoe hater either. I rooted for the guy for over a year. I do remember, though, that he had TO wide open and had the longest wind up in the history of humankind. That led to some defender hitting him in the arm. Although I wanted him badly to succeed, I really thought about how much quicker just about any other quarterback would have released that ball.

Flea flicker with Romo would be sweet. The contrast would be really worth seeing.

I hope we run like 4 or 5 trick plays just to make whoever we play in the playoffs have to waste time preparing for it in practice.

1. That requires protection.

2. Why show it before the playoffs?

Leftwich's windup is bad, but he gets the ball out in a decent amount of time. He's not Chad Hutchinson when it comes to windup/release.

Romo don't have the rocket arm that Quincy or Bledsoe do for plays like the fleaflicker.....that's why he will never be an 'elite' QB in this league.

thats what im thinking....

dallas hasn't run a decent trick play all year, why even try to run one now at the risk of burning it up when it could be used next week.

haha.....knocking reasons why Romo "won't" be anything while using examples of players who weren't ever anything.

Romo won't be elite because he doesn't have a rocket arm but Bledsoe and Carter have the rocket arm and still were never elite. Man, did that big arm ever get put them in the top 3 at that position. :laugh1:

Bledsoe = future HOF QB

Quincy = last dallas QB to get to the playoffs before Romo, and likely would have led us deep in the playoffs in 2004 if not released by Parcells.

Romo = still an unknown and has lost 2 of 3 games to superior teams at home.

Crayton being a former college QB would help our trickery a bit, and Terry Glenn has been known to throw a pass way back in the day. They said Vanderjagt could throw the ball 50 yards, that would've made for some interesting fake field goals.

You're a guy on a message board, BP is a hall of fame coach. Why would he bench one of 'his guys' a guy he drafted almost 15 years ago, for some unknown undrafted scrub named Tony Romo. Certainly their must be an ulterior motive.
