I pretty much dislike every option at 4 now

4 months ago I was happy that we locked in the 4th spot.

Today? Blah.

Bosa seems like a talented kid but he doesn't strike me as that pass rushing terror you probably want from your DE if you take him in the Top 5.

Ramsey is definitely a freak athlete but admittedly, I am scarred by the Claiborne's of the past and the fact that his production was so bizarrely low is peculiar.

Elliott very well may end up being an elite back and would be effective here. But I have doubts that he's that much better behind our OL than say a guy in the 3rd round.

Buckner? %$#$#

Tunsil is arguably the best player that could slide to us but I think there is something to the law of diminishing returns in football and does Tunsil at 4 make that big of an impact on our OL? I have my doubts.

I am left praying for a trade down. But I don't think it's going to happen and what I am going to be left with next Thursday night is a big feeling of indifference when the commissioner announces who the Cowboys picked at 4.

Well unless of course it's Buckner. That'll stir up something inside of me. Likely puke.

Worst year for a top 5 pick. I'd love to trade down anywhere between 6 and 10

I agree. I like individual components of each player, including Buckner, but that doesn't add up to equal #4.

Even Elliot, who I love and will be available and probably the most talented player. We had the ninth ranked rushing offense in 2015. Is getting to number 1 in that category really going to help us?

So who ya' got, if we can't trade down and SD takes Tunsil?

Nah man our options are awesome. I'm more upset about the DE suspensions.

But we can plug tons of holes in this draft.
I'm hoping for Ramsey or a trade back to get Lawson or Ogbah or Hargreaves.... Someone like that.

I think I'd pinch my nose from the stench and take Ramsey.

My logic being of the remaining guys - Buckner, Bosa, Elliott and Ramsey.............. he's got the highest upside.

It's just a very blah draft all over. There will be some diamonds in the rough and some guys will be good players, but it's a pretty weak draft. This place would go bananas, but it might not be terrible to try and add picks next year through trades this year.

CB production is hard to measure. Ideally, teams just don't look their way.

Another note: Ramsey had 10 TFL (!!), 3 sacks, 2 INTs, 12 passes defended, and 3 FFs his sophomore season. That's crazy production for a guy teams don't want to throw at.

That said, I'm not in love with any of the options either, with the exception of Tunsil. But drafting him to play RT has it's own baggage.

Ramseys production is very good. I think he is clearly the choice at 4 if available.

If SD takes him, I agree. This is the worst year I can remember to have a no 4 pick.

If Ramsey is gone I try to trade back. If no takers, I just draft Tunsil.

Bosa's opposing OC's certainly treated him like a pass rushing terror. He produced over 6 pressures a game despite said treatment. 40 times do not correlate with pass rush success while BJ, cone and shuttle scores where he is 90th percentile do.

Ramsey is not Claiborne. More front brain; less back brain.

Zeke Elliott. Makes the whole team better. Safeties have to come up in run support opening up the passing game. Romo takes fewer hits. Defense isn't on the field as long. This should be the pick

Would you guys please go watch Ramsey play instead of worrying about his stupid INT totals?

He is a beast. Plain and simple. He impacts games with his presence and would greatly improve our secondary.

This is not a debate! ;)

Let's just take a DE with every pick. We have to get at least one OK one.

Its crazy how combine stats take president over actual production. At the end of the bowlgames Bosa was #1 player and Lynch and Goff were a pickem.

Teams already cheat S up because of the oline.

We aren't going to run the ball more than the 50-50 split as evidenced by history and the HC's love for 'balance.'

First downs keep the defense off the field. It's easier to get first downs via the pass.

I think anonymous scouts picking 5-10 are running a smear campaign against Bosa trying to get him to drop. The 'good' vs 'great' argument and the willful ignorance to Bosa's agility metrics say this is so.

Yeah, that must be it.
