I pretty much dislike every option at 4 now

Tunsil and Elliott would be great choices at 4. This draft class is what it is and someone has to be the pick.
No franchise QBs and no elite pass rushers.
But we have a great shot at an elite OT or RB.
I love where the Cowboys are sitting.

What's your response going to be when they take Ramsey?

I guess I see it different, I think this draft is very good considering the needs we have. Based on what I have seen and read this is a deep draft for DL.

Ramsey is going to go at #3. Even if San Diego doesn't take him, they are already getting calls from teams that want to jump in front of Dallas. That would not be a terrible thing because it could present opportunity for Dallas to also trade down with Tunsil edging closer to the Ravens.

He most likely is going to be a Charger. But if the Cowboys draft him I will welcome the newest Cowboy with open arms and be the biggest Ramsey homer you ever seen.

I think if Dallas goes Ramsey he will be selected as a FS which would address a need. Jones at that point I think moves into the starting CB role

I'm fine with it. We need defensive help, and either DB/DL or DL/DB works just fine for me.

I'm bummed we missed on the QBs, but had zero interest in overpaying for either of those guys.

Bosa is a stud. Stop questioning it. HE IS A STUD.

We don't have a quality starting DE weeks 1-4 now. So, don't overthink it and draft Bosa at 4 and lets go!

Every team in the league is playing with the same Deck. Sure somebody stole the Aces and 2 of the kings.. But there are still winning hands out there.

Now that the two top QBs are no longer options, my preferences are:

Elliott
Ramsey
Bosa
Buckner

4 months ago I was happy that we locked in the 4th spot.

Today? Blah.

Bosa seems like a talented kid but he doesn't strike me as that pass rushing terror you probably want from your DE if you take him in the Top 5.

Ramsey is definitely a freak athlete but admittedly, I am scarred by the Claiborne's of the past and the fact that his production was so bizarrely low is peculiar.

Elliott very well may end up being an elite back and would be effective here. But I have doubts that he's that much better behind our OL than say a guy in the 3rd round.

Buckner? %$#$#

Tunsil is arguably the best player that could slide to us but I think there is something to the law of diminishing returns in football and does Tunsil at 4 make that big of an impact on our OL? I have my doubts.

I am left praying for a trade down. But I don't think it's going to happen and what I am going to be left with next Thursday night is a big feeling of indifference when the commissioner announces who the Cowboys picked at 4.

Well unless of course it's Buckner. That'll stir up something inside of me. Likely puke.

Can't disagree with your post. I said three months ago we should trade down......believe it now more than ever.

Cosigned. I personally would reach for Lynch at 4.

Worst year for a top 5 pick. I'd love to trade down anywhere between 6 and 10

I agree. I like individual components of each player, including Buckner, but that doesn't add up to equal #4.

Even Elliot, who I love and will be available and probably the most talented player. We had the ninth ranked rushing offense in 2015. Is getting to number 1 in that category really going to help us?

It's very likely will get a good player at #4. I try not to overthink it.

This is a problem imo. Shouldn't we expect more than a "good player at #4"? I personally do not think there is a can't miss prospect sitting there at 4, which makes this one of the most bizarre drafts I have seen in a while. Who to draft?

Would you guys please go watch Ramsey play instead of worrying about his stupid INT totals?

He is a beast. Plain and simple. He impacts games with his presence and would greatly improve our secondary.

This is not a debate! ;)

If I'm drafting a cb at 4, I expect a dynamic, shutdown, corner, who makes plays, etc. Part of that equation is getting ints. What is one of the major problems wth this teams defense? Lack of take aways. So do I really want to draft another 'stoned hand' cb, that doesn't intercept the football, with the 4th overall pick?

I think it all depends on what you are looking for. If you want a solid starter who could develop into something more Bosa and Ramsey both seem to fit the bill... if you want a "for sure" yearly Pro Bowler... nah don't see that... but then again that doesn't exist anyway.

It appears some teams think there are franchise QB in this draft. They are lying huge prices for them. Time will tell who is right

Just because he didn't get INTs in college doesn't mean he won't in the pros.

INTs are a luck thing a lot of times.

Also, the NFL's int totals as a whole is way down.

Ramsey is all of those things you mentioned but he did not have a zillion INTs.

Projecting him going forward though you have to think he is a future star in this league.

He's nothing like Claiborne btw. Stylistically they are just completely different.
