I still have the lamp, clock, radio, bank and winter hat. Had the jacket. Don't know what happened to that. They also had a winter vest, which I still have.

:grin2:

I also remember hatin' that the Steelers got the big pictures in the catalog.

I really miss the attitude, overachiever, and hustle of #40 Bill Bates...he was an inspiration to the defense and to the fans. We need someone like that on defense, not that wimp Roy Williams who doesn't want to hit anyone anymore or defend one single pass all year long.

the 9ers had to cheat to stop the Boys from winning 4 in a row... Free Agency alone stalled a run of about 5 in a row... Jerry firing Jimmy prevented maybe 6 or 7 in a row!

Oh and last I chaecked NO DYNASTY HAS EVER LOST A SUPER BOWL!

I beg to differ. The 70's Cowboys were a legit dynasty and they lost three out of five Super Bowls--two of which were to the media's designated Team of the 70's Pittsburgh Steelers. The two defeats to the Team of the 70's were a combined eight points. The third defeat was to the Baltimore Colts by only three points. The two wins over the Dolphins and Broncos were blowouts. Plus, this team existed when parity was a dirty word in the league, unlike today. If the 70's Cowboys are portrayed as anything but as a dynasty, it truly puts the definition of the word dynasty in question.

No problem. Of course, there are other reasons to miss the Seventies.

And the fact that all three losses had critical blown calls by the officials, the Cowboys should have won 5 superbowls in the decade, to go with their most regular season wins, which would've truly ranked them as one of the greatest dynasties ever

While I agree we would have atleast one more with Jimmy. It wouldnt have been 6 or 7.

Dynasties never lose? If you go to more DANCE's than everyone else... you may lose a few. 8 Appearances for Cowboys - 5 SB wins.... Yankees 39 appearances - 27 WS wins.

From 1940 to 1965 the Yankees went to 18 WS. Winnin 12 of them.

Dynasty or not?

It is what it is... but we should have won the Colts SB and atleast one Steelers SB.
