Bro I don't get people like you that are so oblivious. And yea, I am grouping you in with Jerry Jones because I am sure Dak will be returning, with a big fat extension and more of the same choke.
Agree, he will extend him and will get the same, probably keep McCarthy for his last year. For all the glitz they are not a well managed franchise measured in playoff results over the 29 years.

If Dak refuses to give the Cowboys a discount this offseason, Jerry needs to cut his butt! Make him a post June 1 cut. That's the only way I keep Dak. He has talent. Just needs players around him.

I saw some examples early that Dak and CD were not getting along. I wish I knew the backstory behind this. Could be interesting going forward especially considering the Amari Cooper/Dak history.
The Dak body count is a real thing.... :banghead:

Unfortunately.....

I remember saying it was just a matter of time before you could add Lamb to the list....

But of course it's Kellen Moore's fault....

Oh wait...:muttley:

You going to need some welfare checks because Dak is coming back next year, plus getting a contract extension. Book it.
While I still think Dak comes back with an extension (80% confident), I do think he just softened the blow by $5mm-$10mm/ year... even Dak pretty much acknowledged that in his presser.

Dak did? I haven't seen it. I hope so. He needs to give Jerry and the Cowboys a big discount!

CB isn't happy unless he's getting the ball. When that changes he'll be happy again. It's not that difficult, it's not a big deal. He's no different than any other diva receiver. Teams would good defenses will take him out. They take any team out with only one quality receiver.

Something was going on, Lamb was on the sideline almost tearing up and this was very early in the game when we were still in it.

MM even went over to Lamb to console him, that was something else that was very strange.

I dont know, but there was something going on that we are not being told about.
Too bad the reporters around this team will never tell us or even investigate. They'll be too busy writing the 1000th article about how McCarthy should be fired or telling us what a success this year was or detailing Dak's new tats or sucking up to Jerry. It's like they all work for the team anymore.

Orlofsky just said on ESPN if Jerry changes nothing don't tell me you are serious about winning a super bowl. I agree 100% and I've been saying it all along.

There is something more fundamental going on with this team than the need for better players. For the past 20 years, the Cowboys have had better players than at least half of the teams (probably more like 75%) in the playoffs yet we continue to fail 100% of the time. In 20 years we have made the playoffs 10 times and we have only won 4 games (and never 2 games in a year)...that's out of 38 possible win opportunities. Even with pure luck we should have won twice as many as that. To be that bad with different coaches players and era's should nearly be impossible. I know the common denominator is JJ and I credit him with 75% responsibility...but there is something else not right...maybe it's the pressure of playing the most high profile team in the world...maybe there is some truth to the casual manipulation of the game to influence outcomes (I know, I know that's tin foil hat territory...but with sports gambling where it is today and that post someone put up about the impact of the Cowboys merchandising contract has on the rest of the owners and the fact that NFL is a multi-billion dollar business that seems to do great when the Cowboys are almost good but not good enough...keeps Cowboys fans motivated and Cowboys haters, which there are 10 times as many holding on ti witness the great implosion. And by manipulation, I don't mean ensuring the results, I mean minor manipulation that tips the scales in favor of the outcome you want and let the results be what they are...i.e. tilt the scale in favor of the house and they will win a majority of the time. I know I digressed and I will get roasted for that last thought, but back to my original concern, this is way bigger than players in any given year on the Cowboys, the coach at any specific time, or The bumbling GM. All of those do play a major part in the final results, but something else is there and I can't quite put my finger on it.

Wow, that's deep. Good stuff. I believe you are on to something.

This was really weird. From the beginning, Ceedee was pissed, upset, angry. And it makes no sense.

Unless this is a Delonte West Lebron James scenario, there is literally no reason to act like that before the biggest game of the year. And bickering with your QB, is about the dumbest thing you could ever do and is incredibly selfish. If i'm Jerry, I am pissed at him, as his conduct was definitely detrimental, and was completely avoidable. Honestly, as good as Ceedee is, this is an absolute problem and consequences need to follow.

He just said if MM needs to be held accountable for the lost so does he. If he is going to be held accountable, the only way is through the negotiations of his next contract, or to let him play it out/cut him and not resign him to a new contract. Given the latter is a low probability the former has to apply.

Why do you give CeeDee all the blame?

Maybe he could see his QB's mind was broken by the moment, he knew where this was headed, and he didn't like it.
