I skipped my college graduation ceremony to watch this

get my priorities straight? I graduated from college! Attending a pompous celebration has nothing to do with priorities. I'd rather watch my beloved team play than sit in a hot auditorium and listen to R. L. Stein speak than walk and get a fake piece of paper. Football is my life, I'm a secondary coach for a local high school team and plan to do so for my teaching career. Sad to see such a loss of loyalty in our fan-base, especially when I consider myself a pessimistic, realist fan and not a homer. I predict losses almost every week because we suck but I still watch.

my boss let me off early so I could watch the game; I watched the game at a bar down the street. I came back to work at halftime as the game looked won, and I listened to the rest on my cell phone. I am glad I left at the half.

I actually agree with this tbh, I went to mine, but I didn't care for it much. It was boring and pointless to me. That being said, my family and friends seemed to enjoy it.
