I suspect they will load up on offensive skill talent this offseason

They will load up on offensive skill talent. Jerry and his son saw how ineffective Dak was at times so they know they have to give him a ton of weapons to hopefully improve his play and justify the massive contract/cap hit he has.

Schultz will probably be too expensive but I suspect Pollard is now a very realistic candidate to be back, not on a tag, but a regular contract given his injury. Lamb and Gallup are back for sure given Lamb is a stud and Gallup just got paid. But I suspect you could see them using a first or 2nd round pick on a WR in the draft. Maybe a TE if someone like Mayer falls to them.

Interesting offseason for sure. I think they could use more help on defense but Dak's issues last night likely means the Jones' are going to be hyperfocused on giving him enough weapons to help him become more consistent.

How many times have they dedicated resources to helping Dak.....only to see the same result time and time again.

"Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"....the definition of insanity.

Unless the feel bland is the answer they are going to draft defense to many glaring needs DT and LB a huge need to go with corner
I can’t believe a 3rd round receiver could barely see the field this year that’s insane

The Niners loaded up on offensive talent because garrapolos base salary is 6million. How do the cowboys load up on fa offensive talent with Daks cap hit of 49 million?

Gonna have to be one helluva draft, lol

Very tough to predict this offseason with so many moving parts. Probably need to solidify the Oline first. Is Tyron coming back? What does a Steele contract look like? Is Biadasz our C moving forward? LG seems to still need addressed.

Yes, spend more capital trying to make Dak viable while going bargain bin with the D - remember, we have a lot of FA this side of the ball and probably a new DC.

A new Jones' Special. And we already know the results.

Probably

But it’s time to blow it up.

There’s too much to address and too many aging guys to really load up and give Dak everything he needs.

That's why I think they will definitely use a top pick on a WR. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to see them go WR in the first and then come back with another WR later. They could also go TE early because I think Schultz will be too pricey.

Bijan Robinson from Texas. Stud back on a rookie contract will make it easier to swallow what we still owe Zeke

Sounds about right, Probably be a skill player that drops nobody expected. Not that it will make a difference.

Until Jones opens up his wallet for some proven FAs, hopefully OL and WR, not much will change. Their cheapness is killing us. Enough of the bargain basement players. They can get a very good RB anywhere in the draft. They need to grab a very good QB too if one falls...

Gallup isn't even a #3 on a good team....I can't believe I'm about to say this, but he is less effective than Brown. There, I said it.:facepalm::facepalm:

Honestly they should save money until Dak is gone. Why waste good resources on a lame duck player?

In fairness, Gallup wouldn't be the first or last player that struggled coming off major knee surgery. I wouldn't toss him to the trash just yet.

That being said, the Gallup situation highlights the stupidity of the Jones and the Jones apologists on this board thinking that WR was just fine in August. Hey guys, Gallup will be back in October! It's all good!! LOL.
