Last Friday I spoke with McClain and he told me this years SB teams would be? Drum roll......... Dallas vs Miami. Blew me away as well, Dallas I could see as an outside shot but Miami I was suprised to hear. He also talked about TO and said he thinks he will do very well if he can learn to control what he says. McClain said TO biggest problem is he does not think before talking and when he makes comments he said the Media will jump on it and run with it. McClain has a lot of doubt about TO changing.

Haven't heard much from McClain since he killed all those terrorists at the airport. Is he still with NYPD?

Where did you run in to McClain? Anyway, I used to really like him until he sold his soul to the Texans and became their mouthpiece.

Well, after the Airport thing he had that whole thing with Hans Grubers brother jerking him around while stealing the gold reserve on Wall Street and then blowing up that ship in the harbor. :D

His banking account is at the bank my mother works at. He is in there pretty often and I just happened to see him last friday for he heads to Vegas. Each year he makes his prediction flys to Vegas to make his wager. As for the man himself, pretty nice guy and not as big of a Cowboy hater I once thought he was

I don't like where Miami stands this year. When they went on that win streak at the end of the year, 4 of the 6 opponents were the Jets, Bills, Raiders, and Titans who went a combined 18-46. They then beat the Chargers, which was impressive. But every team usually gets upset once during the season and the Chargers still only managed a 9-7 record. They did beat the Pats, but that was the last game of the season and the Pats were not going to improve their position in the playoffs whether they won or not.

But the bigger problem I see with Miami is their defense is very old. In fact, it's the 4th oldest in the NFL. A few years ago there was a statistical study on injuries in the NFL and the main conclusion is that defensive players are twice as likely to get injured as offensive players. That's a big reason why most teams are much younger on defense than they are on offense.

Plus, while a team like the Browns are a bit older on defense, part of that is due to Ted Washington's age and he's a guy that will be a starter in name only. The Fins have guys like Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor, Keith Traylor, Kevin Carter, and Vonnie Holliday that are legit starters and they have almost no depth behind them.

Then considering that they have a new O-Coordinator and there's a good chance that Culpepper may not be ready or may be rusty by the first week of the season, I don't see them overtaking the Patriots just yet.

If I had a crystal ball I would be winning the lotto for myself and making a killing in Vegas right now. I think part of McClains logic is placing a bet on teams who do not have the best odds but good odds that will pay off very nicely if he is right. I really don't see Dallas having the best chance at the SB but I think we have a better shot than many of the teams in the NFC. Miami I would agree that is a bit far fetched but with Saban running the show who knows.
