I talked with John McClain and here was his prediction

Well, after the Airport thing he had that whole thing with Hans Grubers brother jerking him around while stealing the gold reserve on Wall Street and then blowing up that ship in the harbor.

But before that he had to take down Hans and destroying the Takinomi tower.

If I had a crystal ball I would be winning the lotto for myself and making a killing in Vegas right now. I think part of McClains logic is placing a bet on teams who do not have the best odds but good odds that will pay off very nicely if he is right. I really don't see Dallas having the best chance at the SB but I think we have a better shot than many of the teams in the NFC. Miami I would agree that is a bit far fetched but with Saban running the show who knows.

:laugh1: I just don't want nobody to jinx the Cowboys with all that pre-season, pre-TC mumbo jumbo... I think they got jinxed last year... I remember at mid-season all the sperts started saying Dallas in SB 40, Dallas in SB 40... I don't want to see another case of Rangeritis...

Miami isn't a super bowl team. Every year its the same thing with the dolphins. were going to the super bowl. New england is still the team in that division period. Miami's defensive line is old, and that secondary is mediorce at best. Enough with the dolphins to the super bowl, i've heard the same song & dance down here for the last 25 years.

That aside, Dallas v. Miami is as good a pick as any.

There are a lot of mediots over-rating Miami, and a lot under-rating them in my mind. Based on what I see though....it all comes down to one thing. The health of Culpepper. A healthy and productive Culpepper will ensure the Fins a playoff spot-or atleast strong contention for one depending on KC, CIN, DEN-assuming no major injuries occur.

Where did you run in to McClain? Anyway, I used to really like him until he sold his soul to the Texans and became their mouthpiece.

I'm not a big fan of his but he's far away from being the mouthpiece for the Texans. He's one of the few if not the only media guy in Houston that doesn't kiss the Texans arse.

Dallas verse Miami, I had it first! Seriously, I have been touting Dallas vs Miami all off-season and that's the way that I see it playing out. Miami has a solid team and made some very good moves this off-season. Saban will have that team ready to play.
