We probably need a WR in round 2 or 3 w/ speed and return ability. We could get Gilyard, Tate, Ford, or Shipley

I gotta question Gilyards work ethic being so thin. Hes a good fit, but I doubt it.
Ford and Shipley have some durabilty concerns.

I love Tate. Perfect frame for us. He helps on offense from day one and could be a better pro than college player since he used to be a RB. Hes a playmaker w/ a turd for a QB so he will be even better w/ the Cowboys

sorry don't see it happening

plus my 2 round goes to Boo the NT gawd you know the Rat gets tired

Jacoby Ford, Clemson
Height: 5-10. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.37.
Projected Round (2010): 4-5

I could see this pick in the 4 rd

Bryan Anderson, Central Michigan
Height: 6-5. Weight: 215.
Projected 40 Time: 4.52.
Projected Round (2010): 4-5.

then I could see us drafting for height in the 4-5

I agree. I haaaaaate Golden Tate. Just something about him. Looks like a squatty little *****. He doesn't run great routes and he's more of a RB. Floyd is a beast though!! Too bad he's only a Soph.

Give me Shipley! That guy is a baller.

Michael Floyd, Notre Dame

yes, that dude is a serious player from what i have seen, golden tate drops one pass a week where he has beaten everyone and is wide open.

Hes still learning the position, hes only going to get better. Hes so good in the open field we need a guy like him.

Of course Floyd is a beast. But were talking 2010 2nd/3rd round prospects.

Shipleys a JAG. If you really want a "Wes Welker" *wink* Decker is better

I really doubt how much better tate will get. Catching wide open deep bombs is reciever 101. If he played for any other school in the country, I doubt you would be talking about him. Its the brady quinn effect.

Nah I dont really like ND. Clausen a punk and Weis is a brat.

He will get better. He came in as a RB and was overshadowed by Floyd. His hands and route running will improve. He already has the explosiveness, PR abilities, and YAC credentials. W/ Romos feathery touch he can make a lot of plays on the run underneath.

Deckers impressed me too and I rarely catch Minny on TV

like i said, i dont buy it, and its not because i hate nd, as i think floyd is one hell of a football player. the guy had the game on his hands against michigan numerous times, if he catches one of those weis ******** bombs, nd wins easily. i just dont see how he can be a decent nfl player if he fails so epically at college ball.

I dont care that he dropped some jump balls. Hes 6'0 at best. Hes great in the open field....

please bro, im not talking about jumpballs, he misses wide open deep passes on a regular basis, you either realize this, or you are one of the many golden homers on this forum.

We have other needs that are too important to be taking WR's. If you want a small fast/quick guy Shipley is better. He's got better hands and is as polished as it gets. Great routes, explosive out of breaks..hard to cover. But I'd use picks on other positions.
