We've tried these small school stud safeties before and we know what we get. Church and Wilcox at best, owusu ansah and Matt Johnson at worst. We have solid if unspectacular safeties and killebrew is unlikely to be an upgrade just more of the same.

I like Killebrew, but I am reading comparisons I don't like about him that is making me sour on him a bit.

Joseph is a playmaker, which is what we should be looking at with any defender we draft.

Did the player make plays in college? Did they pick off passes, cause fumbles, have tackles for loss?

Joseph was one of the better ones at that.
