I think it's clear, the Cowboys aren't going OL early in the draft

We're loaded with depth at the OL position, I'm not saying it's good depth, but it's depth, it's competition! Competition will bring us a starter, and I'm sure the Cowboys couldn't be any happier right now, acquiring depth at the OL position, so they can focus elsewhere in the draft.

Several on here felt we could go OL, but to be honest, this depth might not mean much, you never know with the Cowboys. But so far, it's clear they're looking at other pressing needs. Please give your thoughts!
DT/CB/RB would be my priorities for the first three rounds,,, Steele and Guyton don't give me warm fuzzies at all and if a stud OL landed on our draft spot I would definitely take him though.

Oh, really, they told you?

The tape tells me he gets tossed around like a rag doll against DTs like Jalen Carter.

The Cowboys also think Jonathan Mingo and Jalen Tolbert are quality receivers.
To be fair, Carter rag dolls a lot of linemen, even when double teamed.

Other positions need more attention. The only position I worry about on the OL is Left Tackle and they already used a 1st round pick to try and address it. They need a starter at every position on defense in a bad way or a WR so CD isn't by himself.

Need RG1.

That’s an easy pick in round 2, after we go RB1 in the 1st.

Hoffman would make a good C2.

He’s UFA after the season. Has a 1M deal for 2025.

Bass would be a better fit at RG2.

Good take -- I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we devoted a mid to late pick on another OL signing.

Is there a TE out there recovering from a knee procedure? They seem to be enamored with injured TE projects, I think Jethro is still stuck on re-creating a "Gronk" type situation in Dallas.

Every team carries 9-10 OL, so technically every team has depth. Some teams have garbage lines, so that depth isn't very deep. I believe we fall somewhere in the middle until proven otherwise. Smith is a stud, and I believe Beebe will be solid and top-5 center in a year, two at most. But beyond those players, I'm not certain of what we have. Will Guyton step up in year two? Can Steele at least be average in pass blocking, and good in run blocking? Will Hoffman step up and take a position? No one knows. We have to let the coaches mold our talent into the best line it can be. But I do believe if a good tackle prospect slides down to them, we take him--I hope. Can't take any more chances with either line. No team goes very far with barely average lines.
I am not sure how, not improving the OLine and waiting to round 3 for a RB improves our running game.
