I think it's sad...
when other people can't voice an opinion or frustration. I guess we all have an agenda. Isn't that what they say when someone has a negative comment about a Cowboys' player? :D

No problems with him getting booed... as long as he does something to deserve it. And chanting for Romo when he throws a ball away wasn't deserved IMO.

I believe he got booed in the 1st half, and the way he was playing he deserved it. Yeah he got it going in the 2nd, did you hear any boos??? Don't think so!!

What did he do in the first half to deserve getting booed? Throw the ball away when no one was open?

So he gets booed when he holds the ball too long and he gets booed when he throws the ball away?

Sorry but he did NOTHING boo worthy in the first half yesterday. PERIOD.

The TEAM Was losing 6-3 at halftime, not Bledsoe.

Don't you know that it's ALL about the QB? Team? What is that? No team wins or loses, it's ONLY the QB!

Are you really that dumb. Do you really think the boos came from a couple of bad throws????

I am sure the fans at the Stadium still had pent up anger from last weeks debacle.

What exactly constitutes boo worthy? Maybe its me but its seems odd to call the Dallas Cowboys your favorite team, spend a bunch of money to go to the game to SUPPORT your team then start boooing one of the players during the game that you went to watch and cheer.

I honestly wish that Parcells would start Romo so everybody can see this guy is nothing more than a back-up calibur QB so then we could put this tired debate to rest once and for all.

That's not a bad idea! Only, it could work out differently from what you imagine.

Having a confident QB that is capable of lighting up a lousy Texans team is what the fans want. They want crisp throws and they want Owens and Glenn and Witten putting on a clinic. Bledsoe was playing the part of scared-bus-driver-on-a-short-leash yesterday,,, displaying the kind of exaggerated caution you'd expect from a rookie like Leinart or Gostkowski. While it's true that the crummy OL is partially to blame, it's also true that any QB worth his salt can make a hot read and throw the dang ball to ALL PRO targets like Glenn, Owens, Witten. Especially against a crappy team like Houston...

add the fact that a mobile QB would make this offense infinitely better and you got the recipe for a BooBird Pie~!!!

Who cares if he gets booed. The man gets paid millions to do a job. If he can't get it done then get someone in there that can.
:hammer:

Losing to the Texans and taking a couple unnecessary sacks while seemingly unable to hookup with any receiver not named Glenn, compounded with the sickening performance 7 days earlier. Sounds like a perfect recipe for getting booed to me. I mean, for Pete's sake, if you can't come out and blow away the Texans (which we certainly were not doing in the first half), then you deserve whatever you get.

Maybe it's like your situation when you spank one of your kids for doing a bad thing. You still love him (or her) and want them to be good and escape punishment but you know they must be chastised or their behavior won't change. In this case the bad actor is your favorite team.

I dont think it is that big of a deal. This city booed every quarterback (some guys like Meredith even had it worse) in it's history at some point.

Bledsoe is no different.

As far as Aikman being in the top right corner, who should be there and please dont say Bledsoe.

here is what it comes down to

Romo may suck when pressure is on or he may suck altogether... but as a fan you can have hope that it might improve with time....so with Romo it is possible to have some hope even if it is a losing cause.

with Bledsoe

this much we know he sucks with no may about it and no hope of it getting better which lends itself to hopelessness in fans...

which leads us to the QB who is not on our roster...should we invest a potential high or potentially high draft pick(s)/large FA money and possible draft picks...when we may have a qb already on the roster who may be it

Hey, it's part of being fans.

If all fans lived by your "peace and harmony" code then San Diego would have supported Ryan Leaf through thick and thin, Detroit would have loved Joey Harrington and Dallas fans would have smiled with glee every time Babe Laufenberg took the field.

Fans need to be reasonable about their complaints, and obviously some aren't, but they also have the right to their opinions.

Ah the old the fans have the right argument. Booing is one thing, but that was preplanned by those involved. They had an agenda and knew the second there was an incomplete pass, they would boo.

People wanted rid of Carter and pimped Hutchless, then when we got Hutchless, they wanted him gone because he was worse.

I want Romo to succeed if he starts but there is no guarantee he will be better and once teams plan for him, likely worse than what we now have.

Support the team, maybe not blindly but booing has never served a purpose and never will.

He was sacked twice all game, so tell me which of the two were "unnecessary"? One occurred late in the second half, when the Texan came clear and Drew almost got out of it. The first was early in the game.

Ahh the old whining about an agenda argument, about as played out as the fans have the right to boo.

Bledsoe knew what he was getting into by being a Dallas Cowboys quarterback, this is one of the most highly scrutinized positions in all of sports and after a few performances like at NYG, at WASH and Seattle last year and at Philly this year, the boos are going to come and they should be expected.

Yeah they did have an agenda, clear as day. They hoped he would suck bag so they could complain even more than they did after the Eagle game.

Fortunately, Drew is the consummate pro and didn't let it rattle him as he led us to the second half blow out.

Hell, the posts on this board last week were evidence there is a group that has an agenda (hell some might have been at the game). How else do you explain some posters hoping Drew had a bad game and saying the worst possible result would be Drew having a great game yesterday?

ITs not like the fans had a chance to boo that pathetic performance last week as it was occuring.

Do the fans have the "right" to boo? Sure. Is it in effect giving aid and comfort to the opponent when the home fans are supposed to do just the opposite? Absolutely. Was it justified yesterday based on DB's quality of play? In my opinion, no way.

Apparantly you're the dumb one, or you just don't know the rules here at the zone.

He got booed ON the plays I mentioned.

Or you tell me, what plays were worthy of being booed in the first half?

Don't worry, you aren't dumb if you can't think of any, there are none to think of.
