I Think Jack Bech will be Better than Golden, LBIII and Egbuka

I'm finally getting around to watching film and I just can't believe Bech isn't in the same conversation with these guys.

I mean, I think of having Lamb, Tolbert and Bech and, to me, that's about as good of a receiver room as we could ask for.

Bech reminds me of Nakua. Or maybe even a bigger Welker. Just shifty, runs outstanding routes and knows how to manipulate receivers.

Call me crazy, but I almost want to make him my WR1 in this draft. Seriously.

He's 6'2, 219 lbs and benched 19 reps.

Does he have 4.2 speed?

No.

Is he 6'5''?

No.

But he's just . . . savvy. If your coverage isn't perfect, he'll make you pay.

I'm going out on a limb here and putting this guy maybe right behind TMac.

Anyone else see him on the rise?

He also did a Dallas Day visit. So I'm hopeful.

Guy will be a game changer.

I'm telling you.
Bech had 6 catches in the senior bowl including the game winner and was the MVP .He is a good safe pick and catches everything. He is the type of player you want on your football team.

I like Bech a lot of have been talking about him for months. Some guys are just crafty as route runners and understanding football and that’s him.
That's what I see. I could be wrong. I'm not talking about speed.

Kupp is another guy he reminds me of. Not extraordinarily fast. Just a savvy player.

We were talking about Jack Bech on the board before the senior bowl if recall properly. Bech tape speaks for itself, he comes from the LSU WR factory, and is damn good. The 2nd round WRs aren't bad at all, but the team seems focused on the concensus top 4 guys. However, a 2nd or 3rd round pick could surprise the league from this WR crop.

Who is going to draw coverage from Lamb anyway? He's a top 3-4 WR in the league. Nobody is taking coverage from him.

Edit, TN timestamped me.

But Bech is too slow to be that good. Maybe a useful NFL WR, sure. But better than those other WRs, very doubtful. But then OP has unique ideas on players.
Long live Tony Romo...he's not slow. His 40 is slower than most.

I'm high on Bech but I'm also very high on Elic Ayomanor from Stanford as another guy who just knows how to play the position, does the little things right and isn't a diva. Between the two, I lean Ayomanor slightly but only because I think he can be that X receiver while Bech is probably only a big slot. Higgins is another guy I really like as a possible 2nd round receiver that would change the look of our offense.

This will be a tough draft to trade back from 12 in, but if we could, I would love to trade back and get a solid trench player later in the first and then take Ayomanor in the 2nd and then address both TE and RB after that since this draft is deep at those 2 positions and we could use both. I really hope we don't take many divas in this draft.

Jack Bech is actually only 6'1", 214 lbs, only 9" hands and runs a slow 4.55 40 time for a WR.

Why not get Dont'e Thornton Jr who is 6'5", 205 lbs, 9 5/8" hands and actually runs a blazing 4.30 40 time who could easily demand double teams intermediate-deep, thus helping CeeDee Lamb get single coverage?

Bech plays fast though.

I don't know, though. I'm not in charge.

Ayomanor is good.

Some guys can just play the game
C.Kupp etc
A.Boldin

Boldin created initial concerns of the NFL scouts after he registered a relatively slow 4.7 time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
