Now that the Cowboys have Quinn coming aboard it will give them some leverage. Lawrence will either sign, or get traded, or get released and the Cowboys can use that money elsewhere. I don't think that other teams can pay more than the 20 million a year that the Cowboys have offered. Now the longer Lawrence goes without surgery, the less value he will have. The Cowboys can sign him, or trade him, or tell them no deal on the tag and let him go. If the Cowboys let him go or trade him, they can sign another dlineman on a one year deal. If his agent has any sense Lawrence will sign soon or he will end up losing money.
