I think our shortlist is down to 5 names at 24

The more I think about it the less I think we should draft a WR at 24…if we sign Gallup drafting another WR in the 1st would be too much money / draft capital at the position.

I like all the players you listed but it’s a very safe list…I wanna see who falls as the BPA. Think we have a good chance at a DE.
WR is probably a year early. Maybe 2 depending on how Gallup's 27 guaranteed break down and if we have an out after 2 or not.

I think they will sign a cheap vet like Juju if Wilson walks

I'm not there yet. He needs a lot of development. Raimman is another whose range is hard to project at this juncture.
With the signing of Gallup. First round pick receiver is off the table. My picks are down to Green, Tyler Smith or a trade up. The Cowboys want to upgrade that offensive line with a potential stud.

I think receiver is unlikely but won’t rule it out. Think it’s going to be a trenches player. DLaw still isn’t a certainty to return

I don't think the team has any idea what they will do in the first round right now. I don't think they'll know when the draft officially opens.

Agree with Helman here......think WR at 24 is unlikely. Signs for 24 are pointing to OL IMO. Collins on the trading block, Connor Williams not returning, and let's not for McClay's comment about the draft having a number of OLinemen who play inside and kick outside.
That alone tells me their thinking.......I'm guessing their strategy could be, know ALL top tackles ( Tyron future replacement) will likely be off the board, let's see if we can target one or two flex guards we know will be there at 24. Hell, maybe we move back a bit and STILL get the top 1/2 guard on the board. This has a guy like Zion Johnson written all over it ........

Unless they change draft strategy they'll take the best player available.

1 Tyler Linderbaum
2 Jermaine Johnson
3 Chris Olave
4 Kenyon Green
5 Jordan Davis
6 Charles Cross
7 Nakobe Dean
8 Bernhard Raimann
9 Trevor Penning
10 Zion Johnson

This was the rumor at the senior bowl, they were looking at day 2 receiving prospects. I do think they either resign Wilson/Turner or another low cost #3 receiving option.

As of now...who's our slot receiver? I wonder if this could be a low cost signing

What would choose between Green/Metchie or Linderbaum/Ingram as the first two picks. I would choose Linderbaum/Ingram.
I would pick the latter, think the combo of Linderbaum/Ingram have a bigger bust potential. There are some off the field concerns with Ingram as well.

Have you seen any second round guards that could come and start next to Linderbaum. I would love to get Smith but he won’t drop to 56.

Kinnard, Rhyan are two in that range.
Ok. I want to improve the line by adding a center and guard. I think that is the best way to go. Maybe a second tight end that can block but I think that will come in free agency.

Think we are going to take a Guard/WR in the top 2 rounds in any order, TE/LB the following 2 rounds. An Edge could factor in if either Gregory/DLaw depart. As for a Center, if they don't get Linderbaum, that can be addressed on day 3.

You think we can package La’el and move up in the second or first round?

What I've have gathered, the Cowboys most likely will get a 4th rounder for him, maybe a 3rd at best. Since there isn't a great cap relief think they could wait it out to find the best offer.

I would take the 3rd or 4th. I am not sure La’el will pass a physical.
