I love the 2-3 TE sets. Would like to see more of it, given the depth we have at the position.

Loved the pick and I think he has a legit shot to be great. I think he's a faster, more athletic Jason Witten who btw, blocks better too. Could be the steal of this very good draft class.

Hendershot has great hands and just seems like a meaner, nastier version of Shultz. I love the attitude he brings to the field!

Shultz is a very good, dangerous pass catcher and he is Dak's security blanket. He will get a big deal from someone and he deserves it. But IMHO, these 2 rookies are gonna make Dak forget Dalton pretty quickly.

Ferguson is a good mix of everything. He is more elusive than Schultz, but can do what Schultz does. I still think they need to get Hendershot more involved. He has speed and elusiveness.

People forget Schultz was behind Jarwin . First yr or so people were griping about drafting him . After Jarwin got banged up Schultz had his opening . In the few occasions in the rookie yr of service Ferguson and Hendershot put TE in the draft next April off the table . Too many other concerns . ( Both Lines LB & CB )

I like Shultz but if you see a Running play getting blown up on the edge, the odds are that Shultz was there!

He looks very similar to Schultz. Maybe slightly more agile, but in general they look very similar in how they catch the ball and run.

I would love to keep the full TE group together, including Schultz, but the Cowboys could decide to save money by keeping only Ferguson, Hendershot and McKeon.

Something to remember though is that as the #2 TE with only occassional targets Ferguson benefits from being an afterthought in the focus of opposing defenses. I suspect he would be a quality player even if in the starting role, but that is yet to be seen.

Our TEs and Michael Gallup are going to be very critical in every game moving forward.

I remember cutting down the roster spots, and we were doing mocks. I got the Donovan Wilson pick wrong, but had us keeping four TEs, and I'm glad we did. And still managed to keep Wilson, who I now think will be key to beating the 9ers.

I became a big fan when he asked for the number 48 in camp out of respect for Moose.

I think the Cowboys struck gold with Jake Ferguson the Wisconsin monster of a TE . One pass against the Bucs but he went off for over 30 yards holy smokes Batman . When he’s rumbling towards safeties and DB’s in the secondary they are checking for help !

I hope Dak finds him in Santa Clara on multiple outlet passes and he gets to run over some folks . Good stuff Will McClay .
he is more athletic than I thought, so that's great. but credit also goes to Moore, that was a nice design and nice execution to get him open in space and give him RAC
