I think the pick will be Carradine

Although coming off an ACL, Carradine recently ran a 4.75 at his pro day and accoring to recent reports, New Orleans is intrigued with him at 15. He is widely thought of as the 4th best pass rusher at any position in this draft (behind Jordan, Ansah, and Jones). IF all of the top OL's are off the board at 18 (which I think is likely), I think we go with the best pass rushing DE (Carradine) over an interior DL (like Richardson or Sly Williams) or S (like Vaccaro or Reid). Simply put, it's supply and demand: there are not many elite pass rushing DE's and the switch to a 4-3 necessitates that you have depth at DE. Not to mention that it gives us salary cap flexibility next year to decide whether or not to keep Spencer. There it is, calling my shot...

If they could move Spencer and his 11 million dollars, you could be right. Some draft decisions have to go toward cap management.

I like what I read about and his name was circled on the chalk board so you never know. ACL injuries are fairly common aren't they with full recovery pretty typical?

Jerry has always been adamant that 1st round picks should play immediately. Garrett and Stephen Jones just emphasized that they want players that will contribute immediately. The Cowboys normally take injured players in the 2nd round.

It was from a thread yesterday. The Ticket guys supposedly spied their board at VR and Eifert and Carradine were pet cats.

I could see them being interested in Tank, but not @ #18...perhaps they are looking at potential trade-downs to acquire more picks and guys like Tank, Fluker, Werner should be around in the 25 range (IMO)

He will not be available in the 2nd round. Especially not our pick in the 2nd round. He could go anywhere from 15-30.

Things will be thrown at my tv if carradine is the pick. So let's hope not because I can't afford a new tv.

He is not a bad replacement for Spencer, but they won't get him in the second round at their draft position. There are some scouts that love him and.he may not last till the 18th pick.
