I think they needed this loss

LOL at this thread. This team, coaches and ownership don't learn.

It's all pie in the sky at the star.

Absolutely, this team is already awake and doing their best, they're overrated and simply lost a close one to another 2nd tier team. It's unfortunate but that improved defense we were relying on to help the inconsistent Dak is gone, a compilation of injuries and Micah wearing out has made them soft. It looks like this team is going to end the season at the exact same level as they were last year. Bad luck.

I might be alone on this, but for the last 2 weeks, they've been keeping bad teams around, pulling it out in the end. If there's any shot in the playoffs, the players needed to be humbled a bit and make sure they concentrate on the team in front of them. This is a gut check. Maybe they need a loss next week too. Who's going to step up and win it. Dallas plays better when they're on their heels. They're terrible when they're drinking their own juice.
The whole team crapped the bed today!!!

I don’t think they even “play down to their opponents” anymore. At this point, I just think the Cowboys are as mediocre as they come. They’re like the Vikings — insanely overrated by an inflated record

Every week is supposedly a learning experience and yet they learn again the week after.

Houston took the Chiefs to overtime today so last week's game doesn't look so bad anymore.

Today's was a team-wide screw up so it's going to be interesting to see how they respond.

They’re gonna respond by getting blown out on Saturday, barely scratching into the playoffs after an end season collapse and we’ll then proceed to get blown out by Brady in the first round of the playoffs like the joke team we are

A well placed loss serves as a wake up call....IF! It is used as a proper teaching tool and a bug wake up slap across the face. Let's hope this one serves its purpose

"Learning from losing " is just an old cliché.
Nobody learns from it. It just happens, but to the cowboys it's been a habit for the last 20 years

They could be .500 and drinking their own juice. It’s the culture in JJ’s world. You are great just because you put on the star.

They weren't ready for this game, or something.

But they'll definitely be ready when it's time to go through the playoffs and go to the Super Bowl.

Geezus, the lengths you guys will go to in order to rationalize a bad loss and refuse to accept where this is likely heading.

Green Bay was the lesson.

Losing to Jacksonville just means they didn't heed the lesson.

Based on past experiences, they're not going to heed it.

It's a cheese feast.

Ya when we don't make the playoffs it will help us.
The amazing thing is we could lose our last 3 games and still have a good chance to make the playoffs. Now that the division is out of reach it will be interesting to see if they regress even more.
