I think Tony Romo is still hurt

I don't know if it's his back or ribs, however he can't throw the deep ball. They're pretty quite about it and when was the last time you saw him throw it deep? He has the protection and time.

He must be jersey blind too because he throws to number 82 even in double ******* coverage. What a loser.

I actually agree. There's a reason the Cowboys aren't pushing the ball downfield at all, and it has to be Romo's ribs. "Air Garrett" wouldn't be able to resist chucking the rock all over the field by now other wise...LOL.

I know right. That 2TD 0INT, 73% completion, 109rating definitely shows signs of injury.

I never said he is a bad QB or played bad. I just think he is still hurt. That's all. Why haven't they thrown a deep ball all season?

we just don't attack the middle or down-field very often...it's the scheme more than anything...

He doesnt look hurt to me. But yeah, its noticeable the deep ball is not part of the offense.

Also if you're unable to throw a deep ball then you limit what you can run on offense.

Well, we do have a new offensive coordinator that runs what Terry Bradshaw described as "a short dinky offense".

I tend to agree with the OP though.....this doens't look like Romo. I'm sorry. I know stats wise he's having a GREAT year but he doesn't seem to be able to make the type of throws and to be known as a "gunslinger" he's not much of a gunslinger...

Lol..

Romo is not hurt. He's just been neutered.

This is the type of QB that most of the fans and media wanted. A guy that protects the football and doesn't try to make plays.

Can you explain though why even at the end of the game when the game is over he throws a dump pass to Demarco? He's not even throwing hail mary's at the end of games? This doesn't seem to be because of scheme.

Look how deep safeties are playing against us.

Corners too.

Romo has stated he is not going to throw into coverage.

I wouldn't be surprised if Romo finishes with less than 8 ints because of how conservative he has been.

Yea but we're talking about Dez Bryant. He's one of the best talents in the league. Calvin Johnson is double teamed with a safety over the top. All the top guys are covered. Wasn't Terrance Williams brought in to stretch the field ala Laurent Robinson? He's getting passes in the flat and dump passes and screen passes.

The defense can't double everyone. Even the routes these guys are running....its as if they are catering to someone who is hurt.

You didn't pay 100 million for a game manager. If that's the case we should've let Romo walk and started Orton because he can do that. I think there's something to what the OP is saying.

Ever since Romo's ribs have been injured this organizationa nd coaching staff has been trying to hide it. It wouldn't shock me if they are still hiding it.

This.

But if Romo is injured, play Orton and see how bad it can really get.
