What I like is the confidence I see when we fall behind in these two games. Our guys just calmly get their act together and fight their way back down the field. That is really all I can ask from this team. FIGHT. No crumbling under the pressure on the road and making a bunch of stupid mistakes. Just FIGHT, and especially beat the teams you are supposed to beat.

Yep.

Last week they could have packed it in after the first TD which had to be demoralizing. Same today after the TD (damn if they listened to some of the fans on this board they would have known the game was over), but they manned up and did what they had to do in order to win.

I just laughed today watching the Fins and Trent Green, because their offense reminded me A LOT of us under Bledsoe.

Needless to say, I'm quite happy to be a Romosexual these days.

I want one game where we start off hot from the beginning. It seems like it takes us until the 3rd quarter to start stomping on teams.

I can only dream how things will be if Romo and this offense starts off scoring at will.

You mean the way teams usually start off against us? I agree it will be scary.

By the way, Clove. I've got NFL Sunday ticket so I can watch the games, but the job you do in the game thread keeping everyone informed is outstanding.

Hey thanks. I started last year when everyone kept saying, what's happening, what's happening? So I decided to try it, liked it, now I love doing it. I wish Charter Cable get with the program so I can get the NFL ticket. :banghead:

Reminded me a bit of that game against the Jaguars last year. Sure did.

Or how about the pick to Boulware to end the Seahawks game in 05? Or the Iggles game in Philly last year?

Many, many things to be happy about right now.

I was actually thinking about this play today, along with Romo's bobbled snap as I laughed at the Seahawks losing to the Cards on a fluke play in crunch time.

Take that suckers. :D

Well, Washington has the great Gregg Williams as their DC, and all those playmakers on defense.... Yet Trent Green didn't have a single turnover in Week 1.

So I'd say 4 INT's and a fumble recovery is pretty good...

Again, it's about capitalizing on mistakes. Mistakes are always made by the offense, it's whether the defense capitalizes or not. Watching the Titans game, they had some INT opportunities and a fumble recovery opportunity that they didn't capitalize on, and they ended up losing.

Or defensive players made the catches, and Ratliff was alert on the recovery... give credit where credit is due.

Watching last weeks game where the Offense really stepped up to pick up the slack, and then today watching the Defense with 5 take aways, it's good to see us picking up in phases of the game where we were deficient.

Good to have folks you can count on.

I really think that once we get Tnew and Ellis back Our Defense is going to be brutal. I may be as excited about this year as any in the last 10.

Tony. Romo. ;)

I was also referring to other Green passes where the receivers were wide open with no defender in sight, and Green just overthrew them.

Name the plays.

Obviously, I don't have the game taped or anything. But I remember a couple of plays at the end of the 1st half where they'd just throw the same hook or comeback routes to whoever Jacque Reeves was guarding. Trent Green overthrew them on those passes.

More often, when a quarterback such as Green over throws or is off consistently, it is because he is under some pressure coming at him...this was often the case last night...

Also, with regards to Flozell Adams, c'mon now, get a life, he only stonewalled one of the better pass rushers in the NFL last night, and that is no minor accomplishment...two five yard penalties don't make him a ****** bag....even if someone has an age descrimination issue....
