I thought Sendejo Vikings SS had potential before the Cowboys cut him

ehhhh, overrated as is Jeff Heath.

Only difference is that Sendejo is the 11th best player on a great defense. Heath is the 12th best player on a defense that is so-so at best.

Dez Bryant
Sean Lee
Tyron Smith
Frederick
Martin
Lawrence(second team)
Zeke

All Pros drafted by the Cowboys this decade

Dak(rookie of the year)

Seemingly found two good corners in the second and third round.

Bet: Taco will have at least 10 sacks next season

Hasn't been all bad!

Local kid.....very smart.

Smithson Valley HS and Rice......I am sure I saw him play in HS and didn't even pay attention

He’s not that good. Heath is better than him. It’s easy to look better than you are next to a guy that knows what he’s doing (Harrison Smith). Which is why drafting a rookie safety here is dumb. You draft a rookie safety to start when you have a vet leader. Sign Morgan Burnett and stop the shenanigans for crying out loud.

And the Cowboys only have the sixth best record in the league since 2007 to show for it.

How did we ever survive losing Amendola!

Cowboys are indeed slow to recognize changes that need to be made in order to help the team, but let's not lose all perspective.

Like Switzer should've gotten opportunities this year. He'll get them next year. Day late and a dollar short organization!

Forgot: what about the playoffs!

6th best record in the league? Lmao. How cool! I bet we have had tons of success in that time, right?

Oh wait. The Jaguars matched our total number of playoff wins in that stretch in the last 2 weeks with Blake Bortles as QB. Wait actually they won a playoff game the year your timeline started so they surpassed us.

So what exactly do we have to show for our inept roster management?

Every young player who makes it onto an NFL roster or PS has "potential".
It's not like We missed on an All-Pro, what's the big deal?

Zimmer is pretty good at getting former Cowboys DBs to play better. Surprised he didn’t sign Mo might of had him playing like Deion.

I am guessing you’re referring to Newman and we had Newman for his prime seasons. He was a much better player for us.

He got his confidence shook his last year here and needed a change of scenery. He is just remarkably durable and it helps he came into the league at an older age. Zimmer isn’t getting him to play better, he was a good pro bowl player for us.

Your post to like ratio explains a lot...
Lol, all that means is if you happen to post something that is popular among the masses. It's like people thinking that likes and comments on Facebook are important.

Or you're a condescending jerk that makes those types of comments frequently...

I really thought he had potential when he was with the Cowboys, but we cut him.

And just think...Tom Brady lasted until the 6th round...imagine that.
Fire all those GM's that passed him up 5 to 6 times. Even the great Bellicheck passed on him 5 times. Fire the bum because he just got lucky in the 6th.......

Ooh✋, I want to play..

I wonder if Chiefs wish they had David Irving back?

No wait, I wonder if Arizona wishes they didn’t let their 1st round OL Jonathan Cooper get away..

Or maybe, since Brice Butler seems to be a bonifide starter.. maybe Gruden recognizes the mistake, signs him, and will start over Crabtree or Amari Cooper.

SMH.. this is ridiculous revisionism (is that even a word)

Fact: Barry Church turned out just fine while he was here

Yeah, Irvin has been a real dependable player. Just a rock of consistency. lol

Cooper had a good year?

Brice just electrified us with his 1 catch per game average over 3 seasons.

Identifying and evaluating talent has been a team issue for the better part of 20 years.......... sans Parcels tenure where he took a 5-11 team and acquired so much talent that even Wade and Garret could win 13 games with it.

I was screaming at my tv for round after round as the Cowboys passed up on Tom Brady! I knew he was going to be a hall of famer.

All of those GMs most likely have been fired save one... Jerrah Jones.:muttley:

Irvin was a very dependable player until sadly his career wss cut short due to that neck injury. So much so that he was nicknamed the Playmaker...

We have an UDFA safety that makes plays who is unappreciated. If he went to another team and made a couple back to back season saving plays like he did agianst Oakland the respect for Heath would jump off the charts.
