If its more affordable than the season ticket, then count me in... NFL ala carte baby!I wonder if the NFL would demand pay per view? Might meet with resistance.

I thought I read under the new CBA players weren't able to hold out? Does anyone have any more clarification on this and if so when does that go into effect?
Also how will the CAP be effected by the Virus? For example no fans in stands or less games played? How would teams figure salaries for the following year if the cap stays the same or goes down (which I doubt very much would happen) but in these times who knows?
Players get fined more and getting credit for the season is a bit more difficult. Also the fine cant be forgiven, as I suppose was standard practice.
Who is holding out btw?
This is why Al Davis moves the Raiders to LA. He thought that a change to a PPV model was imminent for the NFL and his team could benefit from having the entire LA market to himselfI wonder if the NFL would demand pay per view? Might meet with resistance.
First off, and I’m sure someone is bound to have already pointed this out, but when you are not under contract, you are not holding out.I thought I read under the new CBA players weren't able to hold out? Does anyone have any more clarification on this and if so when does that go into effect?

Alright thanks for the info. The vast majority of the cap money comes from the TV contracts, but there would be less total money because of if the stands are empty. The league makes zero dollars from any ad or commercial run during games. The networks get all of the advertising money. That's a large part of the money for the contracts they sign with the league.
.
Shrewd. This is why Al Davis moves the Raiders to LA. He thought that a change to a PPV model was imminent for the NFL and his team could benefit from having the entire LA market to himself
Well, he through it was a good idea at the time.Shrewd.
So did Hannibal Lecter's fourth victim!Well, he through it was a good idea at the time.
they can but fines cant be waived and it will hurt FA status.. however int his stay at home lockout times theres nothing to hold out from..fact is if a player wants to play that card he can claim hes not willing to show up because of covid19 concerns and I doubt they can fine them, new times..I thought I read under the new CBA players weren't able to hold out? Jake go read my second post. This is not about Dak. Tired of talking about that. it is what it is with him. Just a question in general about the new CBAWho is holding out? If, by chance, you're thinking Dak think again. He's not under contract.
I don't think there's anything to prevent players from holding out - are you going to drag them in by force? I do think the penalties for doing so are stiffer now.
