I threw up a little in my mouth

What we supposed to do with a Tight end?

He could be the next Travis Kelce on a 5-12 cowboy team

Guard was a NEED as much as it isn't sexy, as much as i wanted others it's a NEED
No it wasn’t.

Hoffman played well.

When I heard Tyler I was ebulient. Then they announced Booker instead of Warren.

Randy Moss all over again.

I hate the pick.

I give you a lot of credit. You knew you were gonna get blasted for these negative thoughts, but gosh darn it, you didnt care as you had to get it off your chest. Good job by you.

Why do you say that? Cause he was undrafted? Not as big?
-Looks lost at times blocking in the 2nd level
-Inconsistent in picking up stunts
-Gets beat off the ball too much against most explosive interior players
-Too slow pulling and getting down field for screens

Hoffman is a solid player, I even think hes underrated in his pass sets, but he is limited in what he can do. The guy is a borderline starter in this league, and probably better suited to be a backup.

 Good job? :lmao: damn, I need to start complaining, asking anything with a heartbeat, to share their thoughts of follow up my posts with a dumb one-liner.....maybe I'll get a good job, too.

I'll say this- he does sound very intelligent, he has a great love for the game and it sounds like teammates are gonna love him. And the people that know more than me say he is really talented. I wanted the TE, but this seems like a solid pick.

I have to admit when the pick was announced I felt a huge let down. It was disappointing. There were other players on the board who can help Dallas much more than Booker. I know. Dallas picked him so he must be a future HoF player, just like Zack Martin! The picked Tyler Guyton too.

I would have been happier had they done what Miami did, and taken Grant, the DT from Michigan. At least that would be recognition of a more serious problem with the roster.

But now, it looks like there will be no DT until at least the 5th round, and I have a feeling it will be even later than that.

Totally wrong position.
Tyler Booker ain't stopping the run, the team's most desperate need.
Grant, one pick later,
takes care of that need.
He can't stop the run but he can make people run, another desperate need of the team.

Nice response. At least there's some opinion/substance in why Hoffman may not be an ideal opening day starter.

Yeah, but then everyone would be crying when he doesn't show up big on day one. Unless you get lucky, most of these DTs take a year or more to get going. If at all. DT is the one weak point for a team that solely builds through the draft.
