Many here jumped on the I hate Mike Jenkins a year ago. Now he is gone and we are stuck with a wonderlic ****** that simply stinks..... Claiborne has been benched and Jenkins is in Oakland where he is laughing.

We should have kept Jenkins. His second year resulted in a Pro Bowl performance. He was very much a shut down CB. His third year, he struggled. I really think we should have kept him, and right now I think most of you do too. Cue the guy that knows the liquor store clerk, maybe you know more than I do....

We moved up in the draft for a need we didn't have, and ignored needs we actually did.

Jenkins may have had a bad attitude.... ALLEGED..... We don't know. All I know is Claiborne sucks and Jenkins didn't.

Flamesuit is on... But come out of the closet fellas... Who here wanted Claiborne over Jenkins... YOU WERE WRONG.

Hey buddy I was with you. Never had a problem with Jenkins/Carr combo going forward. 2012 draft was a complete failure.

Claiborne is 22 years old and is only in his second year. Mike Jenkins hasn't done anything in Oakland aside from two pass break ups. Some players need a little more time to grow when making the transition from college to the NFL.

With that said, it doesn't defend Jerry Jones and the hot gas he sprays out to the media. Saying the scouts told him he was ranked with Deion Sanders coming out of college is laughable.

He [Jenkins] still doesn't want to tackle. He completely whiffed/hesitated on a blitz against RG3 last week. He got burned by Eric Decker a few weeks ago. I loved the guy, but let's not over-exaggerate lol.

Wonderlic ******? Got a giggle out of this one! Not to impugn your observations of course. I did read that he was around 6? Football ain't rocket science though. I think he suffers not just a lack of confidence but he is structurally less than 100%. He is stretching a bit on the zone coverage however. There were a few times when he was in man and could not get it done.

Sounds like that scout needs to work for another team. His measurables, nor his skill was anything close to Prime coming out od college.

You get a 6 just for spelling your own name correctly, he got a 4, do the math.............

I was always a Jenkins advocate. Say what you want about the disastrous 2010 season, he was by far our best cover man in a secondary that featured Terence Newman (who btw seems to be doing just fine in Cincy) and Orlando Scandrick.

I liked Mike Jenkins too, but have no regrets about not re-signing him (note -- "not re-signing," not "cutting").
Does it help if you see Carr as Jenkins' replacement, and Claiborne as Terrence Newman's?

According to CZ logic its not fair to judge a player off of one game or one play.

You're right, it's not. Good thing he put together bad season after bad season since 2008. He had 5 years, and Claiborne is in his 2nd.

Did Jenkins have 5 interceptions and make the pro bowl his 2nd year or did I dream that?
