I tried to warn everyone. A lot of us did

In his defense, there were a number of us who said all summer that the "changes" that took place during the offseason, was not going to make this team a consistent winner. Several people were convinced these changes would be our saving grace and argued that point all summer. Now, you have fans here falling all over their swords in disbelief on how this team is the same it's always been.
Precisely. And in 3 weeks they will be pretending they knew all along

Some people like koolaide some don’t.

Anyone who is expecting the Cowboys to have an easy win last night was delusional.

And this is the problem with our fan base. Like the players, they look at the record and not the team that’s going on the field.

Our fan base took Tampa lightly so did the team and here we are.

Nothing has changed. The culture is the same.

This team was unprepared unwilling and just simply not good enough.

I don’t wanna hear excuses about 11 days. I don’t wanna hear excuses about injuries. Tampa was missing it starting quarterback.. the injury excuses stop there.

Our fan base is embarrassing. And I’m not expecting to see any of the guys on here today who love calling realistic fans names.

I’m not expecting anyone to eat crow about how wrong they were about this team.

As it stands right now, we have one of the worst defences in the league after investing quite a bit into it, our offence refuses to run the ball because our head coach in over his head, and our owner sees nothing wrong because he did the work to put this team on the field and this coaching staff together.

I hope you guys are in for a wild ride because this season might be the worst one we’ve seen in a long time.

And this all starts at Jerry, thinking he’s the smartest man in the room, trying to prove to the football world that he’s a football guy when he’s not.
No wild ride….
Just another losing season with no hope for the future because the person in charge refuses to change.
I have been so discouraged about this team I used to love passionately.
Jerry has just ground that out of me.

You mean they traded the only pass rusher and let the other one go to Seattle and now they can’t get to the QB?

Who knew….

Good thing we got all of those old players and draft picks…
And neither of those explain why this team cant play defense.

Everyone knows that this team can lose to anybody it isn't some brilliant insight.

"When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king. The palace becomes a circus."
LOL, love this, nailed it. With this team nothing is a given. Either the D will fall apart or both sides of the ball will shrink at the same time. Neither will or can be jelling at the same time.

Excellent and genuinely honest post.
Good on ya.

Okay, yes you did, and as you say a lot of others tried to warn us, ok but so what? Reality has set in, and right now this is not a very good football team defensively, or even coached offensively. You guys were right, it's a  mess! But again what does being forewarned actually do? Is anyone more or less disappointed? This is one of those dips in the roller coaster that takes your soul, akin to a good liver shot "boxers reference" point being how does knowing help? Those who knew and those who didn't are on the same ride

I doubt the OP was referring to the team's capacity for losing to anybody as being the brilliant part of his insight. It's the surprise that anyone has over it after all these years that should puzzle people.
Who is surprised?

They were the favorite against Tampa and rightly so but everyone knows what this team is.

We just might be looking at a "curse of the bambino" style drought.

Look at me! I’m the greatest! No ones ever seen anyone as great as me!

Haters are so proud today. And you call yourself a fan. :lmao2:
