Teams don't lose fans for reasons like these. Those people weren't fans in the first place. So good riddance to every one of them.

You can be a fan and quit a team. Thousands did it after Jones dismissed Landry the way he did.

Ask him which games for each network in 2008 had the best ratings.

The proof is in the pudding. Dallas sells even when struggling.

We are sex.

Right now we are more like an ugly traffic accident, but those are just as hard to turn away from as sex;)

You guys get too worked up over this stuff.

So what if Dilfer said the Steelers are the most popular team?

It's not a matter of getting worked up. It's a matter of guys always trying to make a definitive statement. You have people who go out of their way to say "____ is America's Team". It just seems pointless to basically take a shot at the Boys to try big up your own squad.

The Steelers will never be America's team. Have you noticed the lack of buzz in this Super Bowl. The Cowboys had some of the highest rated games this season and they didn't make the playoffs. We also have been getting a lot of buzz during the playoffs. The Steelers are a great franchise, great fans but not America's team.

well I probably sold $20,000 of steelers stuff at work today. Including selling 200 terrible towels in less than 3 hours. Selling out of Polamalu, ward,Roethlisberger,Holmes, Parker, and Harrison jerseys( about 3-5 boxes each) in one day.

Steelers fans are coming from EVERYWHERE it seems, here in Georgia. I hate it :(

If the giants winning wasnt bad enough, now I have to watch an old division opponent play an all time rival while my cowboys continue to have story after story of turmoil.

Bob Hayes was the one great moment for us in the last month, aside from Reeves.

Yup, but right now it's as appealing as having it with a one legged, rotten toothed mountain girl.

Seriously why should we give a crap if some franchise other than the Cowboys is regarded the best. I don't care if someone else is called America's Team. The Steelers are a quality and well run franchise. We are still one of the most viable organizations in the NFL and have a history of accomplishment.

Sure we some instability and coaching and player issues to resolve and inevitably we will. Meanwhile I look forward to tangible personnel and coaching approach changes and a better upcoming season in a new one of a kind stadium.

I cannot get over how some fans in here keep wallowing in the mud of despair and keep flagellating our team and organization. We all pretty much have expressed our disappointment, even outrage over the way our season ended. Within our limited outsider view we have pontificated the problems.

But to keep perpetually droning on about the same perceived issues is flat out neurotic let alone ridiculous. How many times and different ways can you keep negatively posting about Phillips, Garrett, T.O., Roy E. Williams, Romo, Jerry Jones, etc.. Those of you that are cheerleaders for the morgue, it is time to put down your pom-poms.

Post of the day.

P.S. If you slap the taste out of Trent's mouth, be sure to get the wiener too...
P.S.2. Okay, that's got to be toeing the acceptable use policy line...

Dilfer's the same dude that thought Romo should be the MVP when he came back after the pinky.

Who cares what he says!! In reality, if the Cowboys play today, the ratings will be much higher than what it is going to be today.

I know what you meant and I disagree. Fan is short for fanatic. Those people were never fanatics in the first place. They were observers who liked and rooted for the Cowboys. They were not fans. FANS DO NOT JUMP SHIP! Ever.

You slap him and he's going to beat the crap out of you.

Dilfer is by no means a fighter.

I think ole Panch is safe to peak out of his house.

If the Cardinals had won the SB, then they would have been America's team. This stuff gets thrown around every year. But, the Steelers would be the closest team out there to being able to lay that claim.
