Rising fast.

Could have got him in 5th or lower before all the hype.

Woods is still so raw and better blocker than receiver, bit stiff in hands.

Cowboys also like Calcaterra at TE.

I definitely don't want to sell the farm for this dude... Rising to what round? Hopefully nothing close to the first few.

Will probably go between 56 and 88. I hope that they get him.

Could go as high as 3rd round.

Hope not.
Supposedly the top RAS ever for a TE. Hard to imagine him going later than the 3rd. Although it is a good class of TE's that should go between the 2nd and 4th. That could potentially push him to the 4th. However of he is left on day 3 and you want, then you have to get aggressive

Won't have to sell anything for him. As of right now I don't see him in the top 100. He may pop up in the 3rd round eventually.

I watched him almost every game at SMU he's got the body and good after catch BUT he dropped too many passes

This dude is a Gazelle. A match-up nightmare. I think we should run a updated 2 TE set style of offense. He can make life much better for the wr Bunch we have, rather than drafting a wr at 24. That wouldn't do much to move the needle. We need to fix the trenches on either side of the ball at 24. Must be a ^ priority. Then at either 56 or 88,Draft Jelani. He is a rare talent. I compare him to Billy Joe Dupree and a Shannon Sharpe mix. RARE size and seed , and has a QB skillset as well! He has insane skills. Only thing he needs to learn is to pick up the speed of his routes, get his head turned around faster. Thats the only flaw I see with him and that stuff can be fixed fast. He and Schultz make this team dynamic day 1. Game changer day 1.

I think he has easily moved into the conversation in rd 2. He was a rd 3-4 guy, but I see 0 way he lasts. If we want him it may be at 56 rd 2. He changes games. He's that dynamic.

I think they are going to have to use that 3rd rd pick at the position if they want their favorite TE if it's Woods, Ruckert or Otton.

I'd rather not.

TE is not rated quite as high as other positions in this draft.

Overdrafting for need is never good strategy.

I agree, but he MAY be an exception to the rule. If this kid can learn how to run better routes and learn the speed of the game at the NFL level, he can be dynamic...even generational at the position. He's Darren Waller with massive upside.
