You guys make me feel old at 33. I appreciated the Jimmy era, but I wasn't nearly into football as much as I am now.
At 42 (nearly 43), almost everyone responding on this thread makes me feel old. :(

Where's Cbz40 when you really need him? :D

Your lot in life is not all that unique.
I'm 38. I was 8 years old for SBXII, JAN 1978.

It was the first game I watched and also when I became a Cowboys fan.

I HAD TO WAIT TIL JAN 1993 FOR MY NEXT SUPERBOWL!

Good Times! I remember that game.

I'm 48 and remember both set of dominant years. I was in my late teens/young adult during Staubach years, for some reason they're my favorite team. I appreciate everything Jimmy Johnson era did but Landry's teams wer just pure class. Staubach, White, doomsday,Dorsett Drew peason etc.. However, probaly becaues of the age of the internet I feel like this current team is my team. We fans follow and anaylize every move they make. I now look at preseason games to to see how the young drafted players look.

This my team and my time and I'm freakin pumped.

I'm about to turn 22 so I'm in the same boat and extremely excited about today. I too can remember those glory days in the 90s but I was too young to fully appreciate it and I took it for granted. Thankfully my dad and uncles are some of the truest fans around and for the past 21 years of my life we have got together for every single game to bbq and hang out. When I think of the Cowboys I think of my family and it makes me ecstatic to know that my family and I can cheer for a possible super bowl again.

I was 8 last time we won a playoff game. I have no memory of any playoff win. This game means so much to me. 10 years without ever seeing your team win a playoff game is long enough.

I am 33 years old and I have followed Dallas, since I can remember.

When I was 2 years old my grandmother gave me a Dallas jacket because I screamed my love for the star.

Anyway off track I went, but remembering the 90's teams I still was anxious in games with all the talent we had.

Seems every play is an emotional gut wrencher.

No wonder I love them...

Poor boy!! I am 36 and have enjoyed many playoff wins and 3 superbowl wins as well. This victory today means more than I think the others have. We need it..

GO COWBOYS!!
Since you're around my age (I'm 37), doesn't this playoff season remind you of the 92 season? Just like then they had success the year before but got a reality check in the playoffs, this year they had great success and may be poised to knock off a strong AFC team in the SB
