I was just in Philly...

Getting a cheesesteak at Pat's(it was like 2 AM) and there were a bunch of Eagles fans outside yelling Eagles chants and talking trash on our 'Boys. "Romo is a homo!."

However, I did not say anything. They were all drunk(like every Eagles' fan always is) and I probably would have died 40 minutes ago, no lie. So I am apologizing for not sticking up for us, but I would be dead.

This is the typical 24/7 demeanor of an iggles fan. They wake up drunk every morning. That's the only way to mask the pain that comes from an empty trophy case.
:starspin

I live in south jersey and am surrounded by e-girl fans. I'm having great joy walking around with my "December 25th, Romo vs. Homo" t-shirt.

Smart move, particularly if you were by yourself. I have to go to Philly January 15-19th. Our Corporate offices are there and we are having some training classes for a new computer system being rolled out. On the conference call Thursday I asked the Corporate IS Director if he wanted to wager on the game. He said "Sure, Philly wins and your systems keep running. If the Eagles lose, your systems will 'mysteriously' go down." I gave the mandatory "ain't that funny?" laugh and asked him how confident he was in the Eagles. He said, and I quote, "Philly will win because Dallas has already clinched a spot. Dallas will just want to coast into the playoffs, and that will open the door for the Eagles." I belly laughed at that one. I think it pissed him off. My Corporate email went down for a couple of hours after that phone call. :lmao:

I live in Philly everyday. These Eagles fans are very humerous. But my only problem is my son's daycare has freakin Eagles banners and flags all over the place. Their trying to invest my son's mind into becoming an Eagles fan. But me and my boy yesterday were smacking around some Eagles newspaper clippings. So that was a nice exercise.

And when the boys beat the Eagles tomorrow he will walk into that daycare with his Roy Williams jersey on.

Next time just carry your 'little buddy' with you and you won't have to worry about fans killing you.

d) move away. life in Texas is 100,000 times better.

There is life outside of Texas? Wow...I never knew that. :)

Actually, everything outside of Texas, is just a territory of Texas.
Except Philly. We reject the scum Iggle fans. :lmao2:

My buddy and I flew up to Philthy for the game in October. I was a wuss and wore a jacket over my Cowboys shirt so I could get in and out of the stadium without being killed, but I shouldn't have bothered. My buddy wore his Staubach jersey so we both caught a lot of abuse.

The Evils fans were really rabid about beating TO and the Cowboys and it got pretty ugly in the parking lot. Fortunately we bought some good seats in the Premier club and the fans there were reasonably civilized. We were lucky to have only one row behind us so no one could anonymously throw stuff from behind. What surprised me is how many people came up to us and admitted to be Cowboys fans that were too scared (or smart) to wear Cowboys gear.

Don't worry, t-minus 26.5 hours until they are humbled greatly. Then they can start talking about baseball.

I concur. I was up there a few years ago for a game and ate at a restaurant in the hotel we stayed at on the water. OH MY GOD. Although I didn't get a chance to go to any of the traditional cheesesteak spots, The one I had in the hotel was a 10.5 out of 10!
