Anae is not a bad player. He is just behind Gregory,Armstrong, Bashum, Gholston and Parsons. We should try to trade him because he is not passing through waivers.I’m here to eat my crow. Really thought, given the chance he would show us something. Clearly I was wrong. He could have been one of the reasons we could have potentially lost this game. Thank goodness this treat is resilient.
Cutting him Jimmy style doesn’t seem like an overreaction given that he’s just not that good.
To do that, in that situation, is beyond dumb.
Okay, try to trade him but if there are no takers... we cut bait.Anae is not a bad player. He is just behind Gregory,Armstrong, Bashum, Gholston and Parsons. We should try to trade him because he is not passing through waivers.

Reports before the season saying we were trying to trade him. No takers.Anae is not a bad player. He is just behind Gregory,Armstrong, Bashum, Gholston and Parsons. We should try to trade him because he is not passing through waivers.
I can't imagine he has any real trade value, and I'm not so sure he wouldn't pass through waivers. For that matter I don't know if the Cowboys would care that much. If they took him off the active roster they may just let him go rather than try to push him to the practice team.Anae is not a bad player. Him jumping offside has nothing to do with his ability to play DE.
That said, he’s not shown much as a pass rush specialist. There’s a reason why he dropped in the draft like he did.
It was just one mental
Mistake.
But what keeps Anae off the field as a DE is his lack of closing speed.
I mean when he's like 6th on the depth chart at his position, he's not a "good" player.
He's a blah player. Dime a dozen. HIs trade value would be at best a late round conditional pick, at best.
