I’m here to eat my crow. Really thought, given the chance he would show us something. Clearly I was wrong. He could have been one of the reasons we could have potentially lost this game. Thank goodness this treat is resilient.

Problem still seeing too many costly penalties committed by so many players on this very talented team. Shows a lack of discipline during key plays that end up helping keep opposing teams in the game. Hope McCarthy starts addressing this problem more seriously asap because the harder part of the schedule is only 2+ weeks away.

Watch the play again, 32 Corey clement wastye big idiot in my opinion, he was dancing around trying to get the vikes to jump offsides, he then pushed the dl inside anae, I think it then caused anae to jump.
Why you'd be doing thst on 4th and 5 I have no idea

#1 Special Teams is good for at least one goofball penalty every game. Outside of the blocked punt in NE— the unit has been meh. Inexcusable penalty tonight. The unit lacks awareness and discipline— and that is a direct reflection of the coach.

#2 With all the injuries— Anae has had a chance to flash and contribute. O-Diggy and Gholston have both looked much better— and they are rookies! Anae will be sent down to the PS to make room for an IR guy to return

Let's just get rid of the coaches and players on special team. That'll show em...

Anae is not a bad player. He is just behind Gregory,Armstrong, Bashum, Gholston and Parsons. We should try to trade him because he is not passing through waivers.

Cutting him Jimmy style doesn’t seem like an overreaction given that he’s just not that good.

To do that, in that situation, is beyond dumb.

I said the same thing, right then and there tell him to clean out his locker and find a ride home. I was so pissed at that moment. Probably best that I'm not coaching the team.

Okay, try to trade him but if there are no takers... we cut bait. ;)

I mean when he's like 6th on the depth chart at his position, he's not a "good" player.

He's a blah player. Dime a dozen. HIs trade value would be at best a late round conditional pick, at best.

Him jumping offside has nothing to do with his ability to play DE.

That said, he’s not shown much as a pass rush specialist. There’s a reason why he dropped in the draft like he did.

Reports before the season saying we were trying to trade him. No takers.

I can't imagine he has any real trade value, and I'm not so sure he wouldn't pass through waivers. For that matter I don't know if the Cowboys would care that much. If they took him off the active roster they may just let him go rather than try to push him to the practice team.

Don't be wrong on a player after one penalty. Dude was a late pick and a project player. So many would have cut guys like Randy Gregory, Cedrick Wilson, Terance Steele, etc if we didn't give them some time.

Dude made a stupid mistake that probably sticks in his mind for the rest of his playing days, and I doubt he does it again. Hes low risk organizational depth with some upside, lets be patient.

It was just one mental
Mistake.
But what keeps Anae off the field as a DE is his lack of closing speed.

Yeah, I’ve said before that I think his ceiling is a pass rush specialist but I’ve seen very little in that regard for him. I don’t mind him on the squad but he’s got to make a positive impact on special teams.

He would help the Eagles or Giants but I digress.:rolleyes:

I guarantee you he would be a more productive pass rusher than stiffs like Basham and Armstrong.
