I was wrong about Bradlee Anae

I’m here to eat my crow. Really thought, given the chance he would show us something. Clearly I was wrong. He could have been one of the reasons we could have potentially lost this game. Thank goodness this treat is resilient.
He is not smart nor attentive. Nor that talented . He needs to be cut .

Let's just get rid of the coaches and players on special team. That'll show em...

that’s exactly what should happen to the coaches and that kicker....Jimmy never would have tolerated that many mistakes week after week from these clowns.

-Anae's passion and high motor reminds me of Randy Gregory, who still has to keep an level head and not let that emotion get the best of him.

- Gregory used to get his share of bone head plays on special teams (roughing the punter) and occasional unneccessary roughness, but the coaches knew what his skill set can bring to the team.

- If we can watch those clips of the pass rush plays he made vs Chargers LT Rashawn Slater, thats' why i still would not want to give up on him.
But he's got to put it all together to maintain coach trust. i'd like to rewatch game tape again, but i don't believe he was part of the rush package vs Vikes.
Armstrong was out several weeks, but he did not suffer in reps and snaps in the rotation.

- Bad enuff that he had Covid 19 that forced him to miss 2 games to slow his reps down, but not being a reliable guy on special teams doesn't make
it better for him.

Anae is not a bad player. He is just behind Gregory,Armstrong, Bashum, Gholston and Parsons. We should try to trade him because he is not passing through waivers.
They tried to trade Anae & Knight back at final cut downs. No takers.

Cutting him Jimmy style doesn’t seem like an overreaction given that he’s just not that good.

To do that, in that situation, is beyond dumb.
until tank and Gallimore comes back we need depth but once that happens few of these guys wont be getting much active game day snaps.

I never understood why.some people here were high on him In the first place... I've never seen one redeeming thing about him as a player .. he looks slow and lost ...

He would help the Eagles or Giants but I digress.:rolleyes:

He likely would not.

He's just not that good. It's bizarre how people latch into our backups and think they are better than what they are.

Him jumping offside has nothing to do with his ability to play DE.

That said, he’s not shown much as a pass rush specialist. There’s a reason why he dropped in the draft like he did.
He needs to be moved to LB.

How do you know this?? It’s about opportunity. Look at Kearse. There is no opportunity with the Cowboys but for someone else, you never know.

Maybe he is feeling the pressure of needing to make an impact on his limited snaps? Not ready to cut him just yet, no need to but if Quinn can't find a way to help him make that impact we'll need to move on when his roster spot is needed.

Special teams coach need to get those dudes off the line by about a 1/2 yd on punts. This team has a bad habit of jumping the gun and the flag on that punt could of cost them the game. As a matter of fact I've never seen Coach MM get in anybody's face like he did last night, coach probably had the same punched in the gut feeling like the rest of us had when the flag was thrown.
