My sister (Who lives in DC and got us the tix) my wife, 11 yr old son and I went to the game and sat in club level on skins side about 25 yard line. On about the 2nd or 3rd play of the game when Ware stripped the ball I jumped up and was cheering when the lady behind me goes off on me, calling me a **'er this and that and how that was her house. Blah Blah Blah. I told her to shut up and we were going to have probs if she kept using that language "to us" with my son sitting there.

Then my wife got into it with her and then her old man started flapping about me and him dancing. I'm not a big fighter but as a former college wrestler I usually feel like I can handle myself (I would have beaten the taste out of his mouth).

Security finally came down and warned them(said nothing to us) and the lady never said another word the rest of the game. Her hubby was another story as he was in my ear all night. It wasn't pretty but it wasn't directed at us so I didn't mind. I had warned my son that it would be like that so he was ready.

All in all we had a good time. Weather sucked, Cowboys sucked but the rivalry was something I'll not soon forget.

Man, I wish you would have shanked that old foul mouthed heifer. Are you sure it was a broad? You know that team has a lot of cross dressers.

dont blame you one bit. people using bad language around kids like that is inexcusable and a pet peeve of mine, and it happens seemingly all the time at games. when my kids old enough, i'm going to think twice about bringing him to games.

Gotta realize that some people don't care if they ruin it for a kid...

You were in the right.

All good stuff. I would have jumped up and cheered too... I either forget my surroundings or just flat out dont care... I get in a zone(if you will)

Maybe he wanted to really dance with you... you know the way they are... cross-dressing women-hogs LOL

I really loathe the tough guy who cheers for his team. I have an incident or two every year because I refuse to move for people when they are constantly getting up during a play.

I had an australian guy get all crazy on me against the skins in november. I told him I am not letting you by until after the play and he went crazy, but too bad you dont need to drink 14 beers in the first half of a football game.

Anyway I would never fight under any circumstance outside of someone yelling at my child or physically hitting them or whatever. My son is too little to go to the games so that is not an issue with me right now.

Foul language around kids.
Always entertaining. If you assume for a second that your 11 y.o. hasn't heard or used these words it's just naive.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it is appropriate at all. But...ehh, Not something I would be upset about either.

Man, that's you. I don't care if my kids have heard the words or not, I don't want them said around them or my wife.

Naive I'm not. But I'm not going to just let someone cuss me in front of my kids. I said they were cussing me. Not just using foul language. I already said that I told my son what to expect. What part of this post do you exactly not understand.

If you're going to let people cuss you and you're wife and kids for no good reason then I suggest you grow a pair of balls.

Different kid story- in 1993 in Atlanta (a game we lost) I had a guy tell me to shut the *** up right in front of HIS wife and kid. Mind you, I was just rooting for the Boys, no big deal. I called him a loser for talking like that in front of his wife and kid and he took a swing at me and missed. I clocked him once, that was it for him.....3 minutes later - that was it for me.........out I went....I felt like an idiot......

You know you are asking a Skins fan THAT question right? The same fans that think they just won the SB and are headed to Disney World?

I knew I could count on you Hos.I have a Daughter who can't speak because of a head injury in a car accident at two weeks old and I would have sign languaged the heck out of 'em.Probably up to and including the one that's universally known. If by the grace of God she should ever speak I don't want her first sentences to include those words. She is eight this year and I took her to training camp in Austin this year and she loved every minute of it. It was great I tell ya'. Next year the plan is a real game since it will be the last year in the house that Tom Landry built. Thanks Hos.

Understandable, but in today's society and video age I have become almost numb to hearing profanity.

Apologies are in order. Sorry. It is not acceptable under any circumstances for your family to be subjected to berating or attacks. As a man you should defend them.

The Mods needs to change the "Commanders Forever" tag with "Sackless". :p:

I have a 7 and an 11 yr old. both girls. I know they'll hear it out there and I occasionally ease them into understanding it by letting them hang around a little when I have friends over and we get a lil loud or occasionally let them hang around while I am watching something I might otherwise tell them to get gone for. I don't want their first exposure to be "out there". However, if a "MFer" chooses to breech the right we all have in public and give me the expletive bonanza right there in front of my kids I would have a very difficult time "leading by example". I might be inclined to tell my girls to erase what's about to take place in the next 5 minutes from their memory altogether.

Hendog, props to you for maintaining. You're probably a better man than me. :)

No. I don't contribute, because I don't raise these children to be Cowboys fans. :)
