We just signed 2 solid FAs, we extended Romo freeing up enough money to add a FA OL and still roll over some unused cap to next year.

These moves all set us up on draft day to continue what we have done recently...add elite talent with the ability to move up if need be.

And I am still seeing all these posts complaining. Geesh, if being a fan is making you this miserable find a new team or please just stop posting.

STOP KILLING OUR BUZZ!

You seriously need to change your expectations. All these reactions are very predictable. Just find the folks who can handle reasonable conversation and avoid the others like the plague.

I kow this is easy advice to give and more difficult to follow. :)

Cowboy fans are mocked as "low information voters" in another forum I belong to.

Sadly it's true for the most part.

A lot of Cowboys fans sadly aren't happy unless they're miserable.

Agrees. That is why when I see fellow Cowboys fans in public, I will ignore them if they see my Cowboys gear and try to talk to me... I just keep walking.

Aint worth the time.

It's true, like about half of the forum as well!

Is it really hard to understand how some Cowboy fans would not want to committ $55-108 million and 4-6 years to Romo after his dismal performances in December and January? It doesn't mean they hate Romo, just that they don't think that deal is the best thing for the team. Yes, I know he is the best option currently on the team but that doesn't mean he deserved that contract.

someone else who does not bother to research. Over the last three years no QB in the NFL has a higher QB rating for December then Tony Romo

Actually Romo is one of the best December/Jan QBs in the league.

Seems with some fans the situation is either "OMG, CHAMPIONSHIP!!!" or "Romo sucks. We're doomed". I for one am somewhere in the two extremes. I see a roster filled with holes, but quite a few young superstars. Give Tony a line and Dallas can compete with the best of 'em.

And where has it gotten the team? That's the point. Everyone understands he has great stats. It's just too bad he always makes the bad mistakes at some point that lead to the end of the season.

Where has it gotten us? How about even having a chance...

It's funny to me that a player with one playoff win and three or four bad performances in do or die games can be considered one of the best in the league in Dec/Jan. Sorry, stats mean absolutely nothing in Dec/Jan. Wins are all that count.

Some people are simply born whiners, all they do is complain, about everything.

The playoffs aren't in December. And yes, stats actually mean a lot. Without production a team can't win. Unfortunately, the majority of the production on this team comes from just a few players.

I'm happy for you if just having a chance is good enough. It's not for me!
