I wish Jerry would go ahead and scratch his RHG itch !

If Garrett is named the head coach I won't be purchasing any Cowboy related merchandise.

I will start buying Cowboy merchandise again. I have not spent a single cent on the Cowboys since the 2008 Philly debacle and Jerry decided to waste two more seasons on Wade. I would be excited to have anyone other than Wade. Jerry just threw away two extra seasons on this clown when the 08 Philly game showed us everything we need to know about Wade. Garrett can't do any worse than Wade and might just turn the ship in the right direction. Heck Wade has brought this team down so far the only way to go is up .

I'd luv to see JG as HC. This team would be well prepaired, inshape, and disciplined. The HC sets the tone of the team and that filters down to the coaches and players, our HC now is a soft *****cat with no bite. I see JG as just the opposite of that.. I'd hope JG gets the job...

Jason Garrett might be a Romo friendly QB coach, but he isn't Romo friendly as an offensive coordinator, and certainly not as an offensive coordinator.

We have the worst offensive line in football, how is that Romo friendly?

I will also buy my first tickets to see the Cowboys in their new stadium.

Romo friendly hasn't produced results.... I believe it should be a run first offense.

This team has not produced results because they have taken on the personality of their head coach. They play sloppy and soft. That would improve under Garrett. Our problem is not with the X's & O's, it is with accountability and motivation. Garrett would be miles ahead of Wade in this department. Of course just about anyone would.;)

Very well said my friend. Accountability, motivation, and discipline would take this team to the top. The talent is definately there...

Jason Garrett is in charge of the offense, and the offense has been the biggest problem on our team.

Romo friendly works, just when you don't get in your own way. You just cant be romo friendly without an offensive line.

He'll be the next HC in the off season.

At which point we will change our slogan from The Dallas Cowboys, America's Team to Dallas Cowboys, Commitment to Puppetry. :banghead:

I want to buy a Dez Bryant jersey, but I don't want to feed into Jerry's garbage.

Yes JG is in charge of the offense but I darn sure wouldn't call it a problem. The HC is in charge of the mentality of the team and the focus and discipline of the team. JG has done well with the offense under the soft conditions that the HC allows. It all starts with the HC....

Why can't more people understand that? This is Wade Phillips team top to bottom. His lack of discipline, accountability, and motivation show through in everything they do in all phases of the game and on both sides of the ball. We have one of the most talented rosters in the league and absolutely the weakest head coach. The head coach sets the tone for everything not the offensive coordinator.

The players do respect him. Especially the starting QB.

I used to think so too Hos but now I'm not so sure. I have no doubt that Garrett's coaching philosophy is the exact opposite of Wade's laid back approach which created the current environment. But I don't see how the stink on this team hasn't rubbed off on JG, especially in the locker room. When a team is 1 and 6, guys like Olshansky (and later, Davis) have no business giving the OC advice on game planning and running the ball. I think that shows an underlying disregard for the coaching staff in general.

I have a hard time believing that Garrett's reputation and respect from the players hasn't been tarnished. The next HC has to come in and have the credibility needed to change the atmosphere and attitude, as well as to gut some of this roster, and I'm not so sure Garrett can do that after this debacle of a season.

I wish Jerry would do some thing but it has nothing to do with scratching.

And Hos, 99 cents says JG is not the HC next season.

I'm telling you the truth. You believe what you wanna.

We don't have the players to play that way.
