I don’t understand why anyone still listens to Jerry or Stephen. I just judge what has been done. Decent offseason on paper and I’ll get excited if/when we start winning.

It really was a terrible marriage, and one that should have never existed. The lack of foresight within the front office is troubling. On the other hand, within a dysfunctional organization, things often have to get much worse before they can get any better.

Good post, and that is exactly what has transpired within this organization. Ol Jerry finally got embarrassed and I think it was a combination of two things. The failed hiring of Eberflus and the terrible defensive showing, and the Micah contract situation. The big ego finally took a hit. Ol Jerry has been phased out of football operations by Head Coach Schottenheimer, Ol Jerry has been forced to cower down like the towel boy he is. Some real nice things have happened for this football team after Micah's departure and the ego took a lick. Your spot on again good post.

Are you capable of analyzing this past offseason without bringing up Dak or Jerry, or hanging on to every word Jerry says and worrying about the last 30 years? I am genuinely interested in what you think of all the moves we’ve made. I’m probably just as skeptical as you are, but I’m judging what was done without all the other BS.

I think we’ve made some good moves, drafting, coaches and some trades. But I’m not going to get excited until I see it on the field.

Not me. It's just a game, sure I wanna win and compete, but at the end of the day.....it's a game, meant to have fun. If you aren't having fun, I can see why some check out, but a couple of wins and they're back.
Eberflus is not a bad coach, he had bad talent and bad leadership. He knew his place, he could have whined and cried to the media, but he's been around, he knows how it works

Jerry Jones, still finding ways to hinder this Legendary Football Team since 1989 to the present. Good news is the culture has indeed changed with the hiring of one Brian Schottenheimer. Better coaching and better talent has been added and excitement has been able to return to Dallas.

..I hear ya, man. but look at it this way.

Jerry did a non-comformist hire, went against HIS usual grain with Parker as DC.

It started with Parsons trade, then it led to this, defense is 70% revamped.

"Fortune favors the bold" ..as the idiom says. I dont know what will look like.

But post season will have spot for us.

And everything that happened because they refused to fire him until it was too late just kinda made me lost interest. I didn't choose to be unenthused; the vibe from last year just makes me very skeptical about this year even tho BeeberFluff is no longer in Dallas.

I admit, last year was disgusting. For the first time in 50 +years, i stop watching a game and raked leaves. But not quite where you are. Caustioultv optismistic

Eberflus did not look very inspired to coach much at all either. He and the clown GM were a bad combination. 2025 will go down as Ol Jerry's worst year ever and there have been several.

Do I think this year will result in an NFC title game appearance? No. But it wouldn't shock me. Washington and Detroit have made it this far in the last few years. It's not some miraculous/amazing accomplishment to get this far. Jmo.

One thing that bothers me is how much the standards have changed. Once upon a time it was "SB or bust" for this organization. From Landry through Jimmy. Nothing less was acceptable. Yet, now an NFC title game appearance would be a huge deal for this franchise. It should not be that way. But..here we are.

Seems many others feel the same way. Nobody's walking....just want to see what this team will do instead of imagining success.

Like about 28 other teams. Should I be the same if I'm a bills fan? Ravens fan? They ain't done **** in a very long time.

There's no reason for anyone to be confident or TRUST this franchise come playoff time, IF they make the playoffs.

The QB has stripes and we know what they are. It's a big problem.

With that said, I think the offseason moves on Defense will help but I am not sure that is saying much considering they were at absolute rock-bottom last year. They wouldn't have to do much to be better on that side of the ball.

Like you said, we can enjoy the ride but anyone expecting a drastically different outcome as far as playoff success or something goes...well I have a bridge in China for sale.

Unlike Dallas, both of them have been to championship games in the past 30 years. The Ravens have even been to 2 super bowls since 2001. Neither of them have won the big prize, but both have been much closer than Dallas has.

But you go ahead and keep beating that drum. Maybe one of these years Dallas will pull their head out of the butts.
