Antony Spencer has been the biggest disappointment to me by far. Last year he was consistently getting pressure and he came into his own at the end of the season. This year no sacks or pressure on the qb. Would love to see what Butler can do it just seems like he makes plays when he gets the opportunities similar to Sean Lee. JMO

Good luck someone has to break a femur out there to let Butler play.

Wow, I didn't realize he had zero sacks... That is not acceptable from a guy who has the ability to produce at a high level. Several guys need to look in the mirror and ask themselves if they really want success badly enough. And when I say "want", I dont mean hope. I mean they will do everything it takes to be the best they can be every day. If they're working 8 hours a day and not getting results, they need to work 12.

Spencer seems to have good character but good character is different from hard work ethic. So, I'm not sure what happened to this guy.

Anthony doesn't see alot of double teams. He just cant beat his man 1 0n 1. What happened form last year underachieving can't describe Anthony's performance

He's been playing quite a bit the past few weeks, not sure what you've been watching

First, I'd say most of the guys in the front 7 have had a down year, including Spencer and Ratliff...no doubt.

However, Ware has 8 sacks? 9?...not sure.
Spencer has 3?

Let's not forget that Spencer, like LT's other OLB Carl Banks, probably rushes the QB on passing downs about 1/2 as often as Ware or less.

We bring the 3 Dlinemen and Ware; Spencer makes 5 when he brings it unless we pull someone and have him in that 4 man line as a DE.

Victor Butler gets a 5th the opportunity that Spencer and has a greater impact IMO.

Its a close race between Jenkins and Spencer as regards the most disapointing Player this year. And Miles is a closing third.

I was going to say the same thing Butler has been in as part of a rotation the past few weeks.

When you look at last year and this year, Miles is playing a LOT WORSE. All those drops especially.

He's on pace for 70 receptions and over 1000 yards - he's playing with a backup QB who while he is doing well, isn't exactly lighting up defenses.

Yes, Miles has a couple bad plays -- but to target him as disappointing is silly.

I agree. If this is his bad season well it is better than many other WR good seasons. :laugh2:

Really? Profootballfocus has Spencer at 23 pressures this season, more or less on pace with his pass rushing performance last season.

Run defense is a different story, but he doesn't seem to be that far off the amount of pass pressure he brought last year to my eye.

this is more about folks being PO'ed that their little fantasy football fantasies took a nosedive this year

Could be, I don't get involved with fantasy football.

I will say I have seen Miles have more drops this season than last year but overall his play is still very good and I expect once he and Romo are back together the chemistry between the 2 will show up.
