I think they need to play more man coverage on the back end... Carr and Claiborne are bump and run cover corners!!!!!!

He is playing hurt, but man, he looks like an awful fit for this defense thus far.

The whole defense stunk. I don't get why Claiborne is getting singled out. It was Carter that 2 touchdowns was caught on and they were running on us the whole game. We barely touched Rivers and they had their back-up Oline in.

I'm actually shocked at how bad he's been considering how good he was in college. He had great ball skills and was unanimously considered the top CB coming out by all the analysts. And he's been a big, fat dude thus far in his career. Not even worthy of being a decent #2 corner.

Problem was he WAS NOT an elite athlete in college. He was a <nice> athlete, nothing more.

Carter sucked today. Ware wasn't much better, but at least he was fighting through an injury.

well we were promised that out CB's would play more man to man than your normal Tampa 2 defense, like the Seahawks do. This coming from the same people who told us the the 2 TE offense would be deadly, creating mismatches. Also from the same folks who said the DL was a position of strength.

The real problem this game was the same problem we saw in preseason. If we can't get pressure and the other team knows how to work the middle of the field, we will get LIT UP. Claiborne's guy made a few catches, but we were getting lit up in the middle of the field. When their runningback and tight ends sscore the vast majority of the touchdowns, you can't really blame the cover guys. We didn't get any pressure on the QB, they were getting easy yards in the run game and they were gashing us up the middle.

Did not at all like the trade up when it happened.
Hate it much worse these days.

Hoping for the best long term, but certainly not feeling it now.

sorry bro we were promised deion with this guy. i haven't seen much progression in his second season. yeah he looked good vs the rams but they have one of the worst receiving cores in the league. the rams couldn't even complete a pass vs the niners. this was a terrible, terrible decision to give away our 2nd round pick for this guy. have you seen bobby wagner play in seattle? that's who we were going to pick with our 2nd round pick if we hadn't traded it away. that kid is a 100% stud.

At this point you can keep our 1st round pick, I'd trade him straight up for Bobby Wagner.

Regardless of how highly touted a draft pick is, you NEVER give up multiple picks for a single player. When will we learn? When JJ is 6 feet under?
