Don't want the MNF game. After we beat TB, it only gives us 6 day rest for another road game.

I think the OP asked this question because it was the 4th and 5th seed that played on Monday night last year. If that becomes a pattern, they'd probably switch to AFC this year.

Zero chance we get the MNF gig. I'll be shocked if it's not the later afternoon game, likely on Sunday.

I don't want MNF only to go back out on the road the next week.

I think if Monday night football gets its choice of game, the Cowboys-Bucs game will be Monday night. I remember Troy Aikman being upset that CBS got the 49ers-Cowboys game because CBS got to choose the game it wanted over Fox.

It did not really dawn on me until I saw a NFC playoff bracket but the Cowboys are 4 games up on Tampa in the standings. There is no way the Bucs deserve a home game against the Cowboys. I bet next season they change that rule. Of course it will only change if the Cowboys lose.

It's not changing. A division winner will always get the home game against a wildcard. It's happened many times before and they still haven't changed the rule.

It's looking likely....NFL/ESPN is trying to make MNF relevant again, that's why they got Buck and Aikman. Wouldn't surprise me if they were allowed to get the best wildcard matchup as part of the deal.
