If we could pick one position on offense that we could take one of the top 10 talents in the league to elevate our team.. who wouldn’t take QB?

That doesn’t place all the blame on QB it just illustrates how important having elite talent at the QB position is when you have adequate to average talent around him.

I found something Romo can do that Troy probably could not..........

Troy was the right QB for the times. He made throws on the biggest stages that impacted our history. No doubt more talented and perfect for that offense.

That said Romo was probably more effective on some of the futile teams we had with Romo. I would have liked to have Troy once we had a Pro Bowl OL and running game.

Aikman has more super bowl rings than Romo has playoff wins, and he's a HOFer. You can't even compare their careers.
And you can’t compare a second year player to any other players career
Maybe try comparing Romo, Troy and dak’s first two years
My guess is most might be a bit surprised

Aikman was on a team of trash his first two years.
Dak and Romo - not so much.

Romo spent his first 2 years riding the pine. I'm not the one comparing Romo favorably to Aikman. Troy had nothing left to prove when he hung up his cleats.

If you want to bring Dak into the discussion, you should also bring the OL's into the conversation.

I watched every game of romo and troys career, and tony was hand down more talented. Even Troy has said so(which I’ll admit doesn’t mean much because he maybe just was being polite) Maybe it’s unpopular opinion. Tony would have won all those say Super Bowls as Troy, it’s a team sport.
