If Bledsoe goes down, are you comfortable with Romo starting?

We have no choice, do we? But, I would be comfortable for a game or two, but, if Bledsoe goes down for the season, I think the Boyz are cooked...

I agree, what choice would we have? At least he has been in this offense for some time, so he won't feel too nervous like say a rookie QB. But he would have his growing pains like everyone else and the season would most likely be lost.

I wonder if this question was posed when Bledsoe was with the Patriots.....

"If Bledsoe goes down, are you comfortable with Brady?"

We don't have a choice no matter what....some aren't comfortable WITH Bledsoe...so, the point is moot.

I have to say that the coaching staff must feel like he can get the job done with the time, and money and effort they have spent on him. Not to mention the fact that they are working on a contract extension with him. Or the fact that we have not drafted a QB high in a draft since QC.

Not like we have a choice...Since Parcells has his man love for him...So for this year OK.

But have we really seen enough to really tell?

Comfortable? Yes, but not necessarily overconfident. Problems are to be expected from a young quarterback exposed to the real NFL for the first time, but every quarterback playing had to have a first time. If Romo is to be the man, he has to get started sometime.

One preseason game doesn't convince me. A step in the right direction but it was preseason.

Nope. I picture a scenerio where Bledsoe goes down early for the year and we are picking in the top 5 come draft time and TO voices his anger about the reined in offense.

Bledsoe going down would not only leave us with no hope for playoffs, but would probably cause TO to throw a tantrum.....jmo.

Comfortable, no. Interested/Intrigued, yes.

I doubt he'd be any worse than Qunicy Carter was in Parcells' first year. Better, probably.

I'd like that Romo starts but he has to wait till Bledsoe can't play or retire. what I saw in TC makes me feel that he can do it better than Henson

Please, stop mentioning that name!

Krankcase is the best QB to have ever played that position...keep up!

:mummy:

I don't know where he is today....he seems to have disappeared!

It doesn't matter if we're comfortable with him or not. He's the guy. Do I feel better about it than last year? Yes. To say that I'm comfortable with it would be a stretch.

If Romo is actually able to make the quick reads in the regular season that he's making now then yes. However, I don't think that he has the experience to make those quick decisions when a d-coordinator has a week to game plan against him. However, I would feel more comfortable if Romo had to come in around mid-season, but not early in the season. JMO.

One game leaves me far from comfortable, of course if Bledsoe goes down for long a vet will be brought in for ins.

One game, and yes it was a very fine performance, but I need to see him in after he has a few more games under his belt..

The winner of the Beasts of the East Division will go relatively injury free.

Losing Bledsoe is a coffin nailer this year.

Maybe Bledsoe can use that coffin that the Eagles made for T.O. departure of that fine city? Plus, that coffin had roses in it!
