Blue is more of a slot WR than a RB. Don't get me wrong, love the pick, and he should be relevant. Not a bell cow, though.

Just need the trainers to get him on the, cough, supplements, cough to add 10-15 ilbs of muscle and that could help no end.

The makings of a high level offense are there. Now obviously there are a lot of unknowns - what kind of coach Shotty is, can Pickens not implode, etc.

Assuming most of the questions are answered positively you have a potentially good to great OL (although I still have issues with Steele), you have a quality WR corps now, a quality starting TE and if Blue is as good as some claim, you make potential at RB.

That then leaves the QB. Fingers crossed.

Thats why Im for a trade for a HB. We dont have a bankable starter on the roster right now. If Blue can improve his ball security, I have zero issues giving him 200-250 carries. However, I want a bankable starter incase that doesnt happen. Sanders and Williams are not that. Unless they are looking for a 3rd or 4th, I wouldn't have shut the door on Hall

He can fix ball security with proper coaching surely. I'm not that worried........until it costs us a game then I will kick off big time.

I think it's to early to assess what will happen with Blue. However, he should have the right to earn his spot and be a possible full time RB.
Hopefully the Cowboys FO will not take the Rico route and wait half the season to discover weather Blue is that person or not.

You don't look at skillsets and try to figure things out? OK then.

Most teams don’t give their RBs volume and NFL offensive lines are really bad in general.

It's not what I look at in terms of skill it's what the coaches see. Again, Rico didn't come on board until late in the season.
It has nothing to do with what I think, lol

Im really worried about his blocking. My concern with him is fumbling. If they dont trust him not to put the ball on the ground, they may not play him much if at all. If they dont feel they can play Blue, we are weak at the position IMO. Honestly I think we are weak to the point that you may be better just playing Blue regardless of fumbles

He’s a willing blocker and knows who to block.

For what he is I think he is fine at blocking.

Fumbling is for sure a concern.

Regardless of the round he was picked they can't allow another Rico Dowdle situation to occur. Rico was a undrafted FA and was the best option from the start.

We don’t need him to be a bell cow.

Those guys are rare anyways and with 17 game seasons you need multiple RBs.

Some of the NFL’s best RBs aren’t even bell cows.

If he plays 25 snaps a game he can flip the field or create a big play any time he touches it.

If Blue is out-producing every RB on the roster he should get the majority of the snaps. He should also be given the opportunity to be that kind of player.

I also don't see him being a Kyren Williams type of RB in terms of carries, but he can be there with someone like Gibbs/Achane.
