If he fell to us then we would trade our pick... so no way we take him

Passing on somebody like Cutler or Young will be like passing on Joe Montana in '79 and Dan Marino in '83 becacuse we had Danny White. Go with BPA regardless of position.

I don't disagree with the BPA sentiment, but the chances that Cutler or Young is the next Montana/Marino are almost zero. Two of these top 3 rated QBs will be footnotes in 3 years.

I agree, no way he drops to 18, but since this is just a hypothetical question, no doubt about it, you take him and run.

No we trade the pick to somebody that really wants him get their current first round and next year first or this year second...

Even though I like the kid (and I wouldn't mind us taking him), I would much rather have two first next year, or even two seconds.

No! Cutler would just sit on the bench and eat up a huge chunk of salary cap space for the next two seasons. The Boys need a position player that will get on the field this season as a starter or a rotation guy now(OL, FS, OLB, NT) not a future prospect!
