Here is my question: What do they do if Dak doesn't sign a Multi-Year Contract before the NFL Draft? Assuming that they Franchise him or Exclusive Right Tag. Do they allow him to play the year on the tag and risk losing him after next year for nothing. Note: I really would like a Dak deal, but just lets suppose it doesn't happen).

I would think they would want to see him go through a physical and move on that ankle before giving him a huge deal.

I've seen skeptics that think his ankle will ever be the same.

I have no opinion on that just echoing what i've heard.

If some miracle we get the number 1 pick than I would draft Lawrence and let Dak walk. It would be difficult because I like Dak but I would have to do what is best for the team overall.

Any proof of these skeptics? Just curious as I havent heard anything except the 2 of the best surgeons in the world saying he will be fine.

Just people on the radio and ex athletes who have had similar injuries.

Like I said.. I have no opinion on it and more then likely i'm sure he will be fine.

I know we go back and forth. I think signing Dak and building the defense thru the draft will make us contenders in 2 years. If we can put up a respectable defense. 10-20 range. And the offense continues the way it was with the OL healthy. We can make a run. This draft is CRITICAL in that though. My dream would be trading back from the 3rd spot. Just a couple. Grabbing Parsons and Leatherwood in the first. Moving Collins back to LG swing Leatherwood out to RT and if Tyron goes down move him to LT and Collins back to RT. Then grabbing a S in round 2. A CB round 3. and signing a serviceable DT in FA. That there makes our defense better already. And helps our Offense.

Why would you move Collins back to guard? He was one of the 5 or 6 best RTs in the league last year. Just draft a guard.

Because after that hip surgery Id prefer him inside where he was rolling over people.
