If Dak flops in the Tourney, what about Tom Brady for one last hoorah?

I hate presumptuous threads like this. You are just so sure Dak will flop in the playoffs.

Let's define "flop" as another one and done in the Playoffs.

I know this will annoy some fans, and to be clear, I haven't given up on Dak yet.... But talk is that Brady is looking to play again, and with another team.

If it was possible with the salary cap hit, because you know Dak won't hang around.... and assuming the Boys can bring back some of these potential free agents next year, would you consider a one-year stint with Brady?

Maybe draft the future QB with picks we get from Dak?
Did you watch Brady the other night? - he was bad!

Brady is done. Watch his last few games. He suddenly has the yips and his accuracy has gone to hell. He lost his buddy Gronk and that seems to have totally started the huge drop in production. Another sad example of someone who played one year to many.

if you think the 9er game was a flop and discount the 14 penalty's and no run game and defense allowing 4 straight scores to start the game and deebo had like 9.7 YPC as well first drive, you weren't watching close enough.,, daks untradeable and un cutabale unless he agrees to it and you find a suitor tat willing to give up 2 first rounders and player or more picks, yes that what a top 10 QB is worth, so why do fans live in this clueless fantasy world as if we can move on from Prescott so easily.

why is this solvable over one player and pointing all the team deficiencies on Dak??Romo?? do you not WATCH the entire game?

Okay then, hypothetical two - Supposing Dak waives his no trade clause?
sorry that not the only issue.... you find a suitor tat willing to give up 2 first rounders and player or more picks, yes that what a top 10 QB is worth, see Wilson and Watson and don't try to say daks not on their level, he 100% is! ..

Next FF debate we can have,

We could not afford Dak's cap hit and even if we hypothetically could, who in the hell is going to trade for Dak's contract when he is going to make $49 million next year?

In fact, just the opposite is going to happen, Dak is going to get a contract extension in order to lower his cap number next year.

Like it or not, Dak is not going anywhere for at least another 2 seasons minimum, probably 3 if you really crunch the numbers with a new extension.
and somehow Dak the issue we are losig these games? umm no not close.. top 10 qbs don't grow on trees and deals made for them are hard to make. see wilson and watson both the trade value and the new deals they got its not then Dak and Daks actually been better the last 2 seasons.

how does brady fix the 14 penalty's and no run game and defense allowing 4 straight scores to start the game and deebo had like 9.7 YPC as well first drive, anyone??

Brady could come here to play "backup."

He's not in it for the money anyway.

Plus, Dak is a team guy..so he could learn to be content backing up the GOAT.

You wouldn't necessarily have to trade Dak.

We'd have the ability to play two QBs, and rest Tom, sometimes.

It could actually work, because TB would get hella endorsement money here..the one admirable thing about Brady, which has also been key to his success, is he'll take less to actually win because he knows money buys talent in the NFL, and football is a team sport.

I wouldn't say never regardless of the clause.
:facepalm::muttley: fantasy world!!

Teams are going to be real cautious about trading for QBs especially after the Russell Wilson fiasco and don’t tell me his bad play is all on the coaching either. Dak is above average and so was Russell Wilson and that went south quickly. No one is trading for Dak even if he waives his no trade clause.

I havent seen a denver game lol, but I doubt they made a offense and playbook for him.
They are obviously trying to put a sq peg into a round hole and it failed as anyone with common sense could deduce.

Russell isnt as bad as it seems, so has to be some dumb coaching there.
he also doesnt have locket and metcalf, who were guys he could just throw it out there and they go get it.

it would be embarrassing, and he wouldnt play for a year, so I doubt he would want to do that.

It wont happen, but it could be done.
Embarrassing for who? These are the best players in the world. Ask Jimmy G how embarrassed he was to ride the bench lol.

People will trade for Wilson. They just won’t trade the haul for him.

I've given up on him, he doesn't have a clue on how to fix his lame inabilities. He got paid and there isn't a dam thing anyone can do to get rid of this BUM! Prescot doesn't have another gear or level he can depend on to get him to a successful PLAYOFF QB. Watching him struggle against a double-digit dog makes a person wonder how he was able to get the contract that he received from JERRY JONES, IT'S JUST FRICKING MIND BOGGLING!

Your not alone on your opinion of the contract details, but what is this stuff about a successful playoff QB? It's very hard for any team to beat a better team in the playoffs. In our last four playoff games against the Rams, Seahawks, Packers, and 49ers, Dallas was better than one of those teams, the Seahawks. We were probably of similar talent to the Packers. But the 49ers and Rams were just better teams.

brady is gonna play one last year, not certain but still very much possible, he needs a good Oline and a receiver corps that doesnt drop balls. Dak struggles with deep balls this year.

you can't deny brady's greatness especially in the playoffs, a Dak/brady duo would be insane for dallas and Jerry.

Brady has had a stellar career no sane individual would argue that FACT . But today's Tom Brady is just comical. We've all seen him play this year, flashes of old glory but well we've seen it
