Maybe the years he was injured he wasn't protected well and subject to being mauled significantly too. Not at all a fault of his making.Regardless his record is pretty good, but Im not sure where 93-71 is coming from? Dak has only played in 122 NFL games. My only pushback on this is that the Dak injury years really didn't derail those seasons. In 2024 Dak was 3-5 before injury. Cooper Rush went 4-4. Cooper Rush also went 1-0 in 2021 and 4-1 in 2022. In 2020 the Cowboys were 2-3 under Dak before injury. Andy Dalton went 4-5.
For the most part Dak being out has had a minimal impact on the team. Now I'm not saying that Dak hasn't been the best QB on the roster, I certainly think he has but the last several years when the Cowboys have had a capable backups playing the teams record has been in line with what Dak was able to do from a W/L standpoint. There are certain games (2023 seattle is a perfect example) where Dak has shown up and the Cowboys probably dont win without him, but in general a good Cowboy team wins a lot of games regardless of the QB, while bad Cowboy teams like 2020 and 2024 lose regardless of who is under center.
Dak Prescott is 76-46 in his career.
https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/dak-prescott-career-win-loss-recordI took that from a search. Thank you for pointing to that error.
But that is the intended direction pointed at. He is a good quarterback and team elements are again redeveloping that also include ability of it's QB and comparable to other winners in the NFL.
With change of coaches, there also tend to be lapses. But on his own merit, Presscott as a 'rook' could well have gone to the Super Bowl but was cheated. That is high cotton and showed unexpected talents. Not just a stupid Jerry prank on fans.
