Its is truly amazing how people can just gloss over coaching and its impact in the sport of football. It matters. Hell look at what Dabole did with the giants this year.

We have had coach after coach over the years and the only one that did more with less was parcells.

Sean Peyton is an upgrade over Mccarthy. He's a qb guru that can get the most out of dak, he's respected around football. He can build a culture of winning here. He's not just a puppet that has 0 role over the offense.

Some people have short memories, last year the horrible playoff loss. If it happens again they would be good bringing back MM? Get rid of them all, bring in Peyton, even if it costs you a first rounder.

The reality is we aren’t nearly as talented as our record indicates, which is a testament to our coaching I suppose. But there is A LOT we could do to upgrade our roster, particularly at WR, linebacker and corner.

This teach has overachieved at 12-5 the last two years. And hopefully they’ll overachieve in the playoffs. If they don’t though I’m not going to pretend like there’s nothing else we could do and we’re just cursed.

The one constant is the front office. I don’t know that a new coach will change anything. There seems to be a culture problem and it’s been there for quite some time. I would say the culture problem has been there since Jimmy left. Now granted Jerry knows football after all he did play at a high level and did some serious winning so he knows the game. OK, these guys are former players...but does that make them experts at evaluating teams? I guarantee these guys have minimal knowledge about players outside the top few. Compare that to people that have followed every move this team makes for most of their lives. Not sure you have to be a former player to make an evaluation of the team.

I legitimately don’t know what it’ll take for this team to become true contenders. Seems so hopeless

They really only have one chance, and that is that they get lucky in the draft and get a couple true difference makers on defense and they win in spite of the QB. If that doesn't happen we are just spending a few more years in purgatory until we can get out of Dak's contract and you have to hope they draft a stud QB and go from there.
